Cornell's Patrick McCarron(27) puts the move on Union's Jeff Taylor (2) and puts the shot on net. The #2 Union Dutchmen would meet up with the #3 Cornell Big Red in the second semi-final of the ECAC Hockey Championships. The game would remain scoreless until the 3:03 mark when Cornell's Noah Bauld would give the Big Red the 1-0 lead. Then just over four minutes later the Big Red would extend the lead to 2-0 on Jake Weidner's goal. The game would stay there til the 7:23 mark of the thirds period when Union's Cole Maier would score to make it 2-1 down the stretch. Then at 16:48 of the third, the Big Red would regain the 2-0 lead on Eric Freschi's goal. Then just over a minute later the Big Red would put the game away on Beau Starrett's goal.
