NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Plymouth State Panthers March 23rd 2017

The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Plymouth State Panthers in non conference action. The Cardinals would cruise out to a 6-1 lead after the first period on goals from Austin Belz (2), Ryan Hubbard, Ryan Callahan (2), and Jake Carroll. In the second quarter, the Panthers would put up more of a fight although the Cardinals would win the quarter 4-3 on goals from Mike Gay, Jake Carroll, Joe Mineau, and Ryan Callahan to have a 10-4 lead at the break. When the teams came out for the second half the Cardinals would show no let-up as they win the quarter 4-0 on goals from Ryan Callahan (2), Ryan Hubbard, and Kevin Litchauer for the 14-4 lead. In the fourth quarter the Cardinals would stay in control winning quarter 4-2 on goals from Billy Moller, Christopher Weider, Austin Belz, and Matt Gonzales to secure the 18-6 win. In the winning effort, Austin Graham would make 6 saves although leading the way for the Cardinals would be Ryan Callahan with 5 goals and 3 assist for an 8 point day as the Cardinals go to 5-2 on the season.
