The Store Tavern would meet up with Geoffery's Pub as part of the regular season in the Adirondack Slow Pitch Softball League at the American Legion in West Plattsburgh. The Store Tavern would jump on Geofffery's early and often. They would take a 3-0 lead after the first inning. Then in the second inning, they would get another couple to extend it to 5-0. Then in the fourth, they would really do there damage with eight runs to extend the lead to 13-0. Then in the fifth inning, they would put the final touches on it with two runs to secure the 15-0 win in five innings. With the win, the Store Tavern goes to 5-4 on the season. Gallery

The game would see Leroux Fuels jump out to a 5-1 lead in the early innings. Although the Store Tavern would not give up and keep fighting back and would take the lead in the fifth inning and then hold on for the 11-6 Store Tavern win. With the results in the Leroux Fuels would fall to 3-2 while the Store Tavern goes 4-3 on the season. Gallery

Store Tavern's Jason Favaro (3) with the pick at second base and fires one to first for the out. The Store Tavern would meet up with Rick's Knighthawks in the Adirondack Slow Pitch Softball League. The two teams would come in battle it out in the middle of the pack during the early part of the season. The two teams would go back and forth throughout the seven-inning affair, in the end, Rick's Knighthawks would get the 7-6 win. The Store Tavern and Leroux Fuels would meet for game two of the best of five series in the first round. The Store Tavern would have to play a man short as they would have an injury in the 1st inning. The teams would trade runs in the first inning both scoring two runs as the game would be tied at 2. Then the rain would come and not quit the rest of the night. That is where the game would remain until the 3rd when Leroux Fuels would score four and the Store Tavern would get three to make it a 6-5 game. Then in the fourth inning would score five runs to make it 11-5 in the fifth. The game would be called after the fifth inning does the field being unplayable. With the Leroux, Fuel wins the series is tied at 1 with game three coming August 28. Gallery

The Adirondack Slow Pitch League would start their playoffs tonight as the #3 Leroux Fuels would take on the #6 Store Tavern in game one of a five-game series. The Store Tavern would take a 1-0 lead in the second. They would extend there lead to 4-0 with three runs in the third. Then in fourth, the Store Tavern would get two, and Leroux Fuels would get one to make it 6-1. Then in the fifth, the Store Tavern would get two while Leroux Fuels would get three to make it 8-4. Then in seventh Leroux Fuels would force extra innings by getting four runs thanks to a three-run homer. With the game tied at eight, the teams would trade runs in the eighth and ninth to keep the game tied at 10-10. The Store Tavern would finish the game in the tenth as they would score two and secure the 12-10 win. The Store Tavern takes the 1-0 lead headed to game two on August 26. Gallery

The Store Tavern would take on Northern Cake Redemption in the season finale of the Adirondack Slow Pitch League. The Tavern would jump out to a quick 4-0 lead in the first inning and not look back from there. They would another 4 spots in the second to make it 8-0. Then add two runs in the 4th and 5th inning to get secure the 12-1 win. With the win, the Store Tavern finishes the season at 9-12 and gets the #6 seed in the upcoming playoffs where they play #3 Leroux Fuels in the Quarterfinals August 22. Gallery

The Store Tavern would take on Handy Dan Home Improvement in the Adirondack Slow Pitch League at the West Plattsburgh Legion. Handy Dan would take off to the quick start with a seven-spot in the first inning and from there on the Store Tavern would try and catch up and would at one point get back with one run. The late in the game Handy Dan Home Improvement would put another big inning together and get the 14-9 win. With the lose the Store Tavern falls to 5-10 on the season. Gallery

Gordon Oil would use the bats in the late innings to secure the win over 20 Main 8-5 as the fought back from being down 3-1 early. As the Ausable Forks Fast Pitch Softball League concluded there first week of season in the league first year back in many years. With the win, Gordon Oil improves to 1-1 and 20 Main falls to 0-2.
