#1 Moriah Vikings Vs #2 Crown Point Panthers High School Boys Basketball March 3rd 2018
The Moriah Vikings pose for there team photo as they crowned the 2018 Section VII Class D Champions. The #1 Moriah Vikings would square off with the #2 Crown Point Panthers for the Section VII Class D Championship. The Vikings would cruise out to the early lead at 18-9 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as they win the quarter 18-17 to have a 36-26 lead at intermission. When the teams came back for the third quarter 19-18 to have the 57-44 lead headed to the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Vikings would pull away and get the easy win with a 23-10 quarter and secure the 80-54 victory. In the winning effort, the Moriah Vikings advance to the New York State Tournament. Gallery.

Crown Point Panthers over the Elizabethtown-Lewis/Westport Griffins 4-1, in Section 7 Boys Soccer. Hudson Stevens, 22, for ELW scored at 13:16 into the game, no assist. In the 2nd half, ELW would score three more times: 1st by #9 Joel Morris, assisted by #17 Coldon Blades at 46:50; 2nd by #4 Trey Hulbert, assisted by #14 Thomas Mero at 50:00; 3rd by Mero, assisted by #12 Schuyler Kurth at 74:30. Crown Point Lady Panthers would score in the final few minutes of the game to defeat Westport Lady Eagles 1-0 in nail biting Section VII Class D Quarterfinals. The Lady Panthers now advance to the Semifinals taking on the winner of the Willsboro/Chazy game. In the second half, Kayli Stone(1) - Crown Point - would score the lone goal of the game at 78:50 assisted by Hannah Palmer(13) as the Lady Panthers would win 1-0. The Lady Panthers had 16 shots, 7 saves, 9 corner kicks, 3 fouls, and 0 offsides. The Lady Eagles had 9 shots, 3 saves, 7 corner kicks, 3 fouls, and 2 offsides.

Westport Eagles vs. Crown Point Panthers April 24, 2014
The Westport Eagles would score a run in extra innings as they battle the Crown Point Panthers in a nail biter that two days to complete. The first day the game was 10-10 going into the 10th inning. When play resumed Crown Point batted around the order and would score 6 runs in the 10 inning. It would start off with Jeremy McIntosh would ground out for the 1st out. Then Calvin Arno would get a base hit and steal 2nd. Chad DeBrokarder would get a base hit. Then Jaice Sperm would also get a base hit. Then Kolby Peetak would get a walked to load up the bases. DeBrokarder would score on a fielding error and Sperm would score on a fielding error. Then Rigby Macey would get on base to have a 1st and 2nd with only 1 out. Then Joe Foote would fly out to center for the 2nd out of the inning. Sam Mockery would bat next and get an RBI as he reaches 2nd base on a two-base error then scored from 2nd base on a fielder's choice by Broward Crowningshield. McIntosh would bat again in the inning and would be walked. Arno would take his 2nd at-bat of the inning and also be walked to load the bases again. DeBrokarder would ground out to end the inning as the Panthers would beat the Eagles 16-10 in 10 innings. Westport's Thomas Mero (4) would go 1-4 with 2 runs and 2 stolen bases. John Doyle (10) would go 1-2 with a base hit, 3 stolen bases, 1 RBI, and 2 walks. Gallery.
