It would be a matchup in the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Baseball as it would be a matchup between longtime rivals the Plattsburgh Hornets and the Beekmantown Eagles. The game would remain scoreless until the 4th inning when the Hornets would strike first with a pair of singles led by Jack Sorrell to give the Hornets a 3-0 lead. Then again in the fifth inning, the Hornets would have another three-run inning to give the Hornets the 6-0 lead. Then the Hornets would conclude their scoring in the sixth inning with two runs for the 8-0 win. Warren Miller gave up one hit over six innings in the winning effort while striking out six and walking five. Carson Duval would lead the bats going 2-3 at the plate with a pair of RBIs as they went to 5-0 on the season. As for the Eagles, they would suffer the loss going to 2-5 on the season. Gallery
