The Malone Huskies would host the Gouverneur Wildcats in Section X Central Division action. The Huskies would hold the slim 11-8 lead after the first quarter. The game would remain tight at the half with the Huskies having a 23-19 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter the game would stay tight with the Huskies having a 35-30. Then in the fourth quarter both teams offenses would come alive but the Huskies proved to have enough as they outscored them 22-19 for the 57-49 victory.
