Jenna Zakrweski (727), Gage Provencher (11a), Alex Reed (81), and Tyler Whittemore (21) as they all battle for the spot off of turn 2 in the second segment of the Mini Sprints feature. It would be the second day of championship weekend from the Airbone Park Speedway and the last day of racing for the 2025 season, and the main event of the day would be the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified 50-lap event for the $5,000 to win, and it would bring out some of the best in the area with 33 cars in the pits. Other divisions racing on this last race day would be the Crown Vics, 500cc Mini Sprints, Mini Stocks for $500 to win, Pro Stocks, and 9th State Cannabias Renegades. After all the heat racing and last-chance qualifiers were done, it was on to the features for the last time. First, the second segment of the 500cc Mini Sprints would be the second segment, and the winner of the second segment would be Gage Provencher. However, the overall winner was Scott Bachand, who was crowned despite finishing third in the second segment. Then it would be the Crown Vics for the second feature of the weekend, and once again, it would be a showdown between Eric Friend and Richie Turner, with Turner getting the victory this time, as they split on the weekend. Then we would have the 9th State Cannabias Renegades for the second feature. Codey Benoit would get the lead at the start of the race. Still, teammate Billy Thwaits, along with Tylor Terry, would come up charging from the back and battle for the lead. In the end, Billy Thwaits would get the win on the night and sweep the weekend. Although with his second-place finish in the feature, Tylor Terry would be crowned the 2025 track champion. Then we would see the Pro Stocks out there for their 20-lap main event, and it would be a battle up front between Marc Lalonde and Denis Gauvrea. On this day, Lalonde would get the win in one of his last races in his long career. Then we would have the Mini Stocks in their 25-lap event for the $500 first-place check, and Kenny Tourville would take the lead off the start of the event, but it would be short-lived as CJ LaVair would pass him for the lead. Although there would be chargers coming from mid-pack, in the likes of Sebastien Beauguard, and the three would put on a great race for the crowd, but in the end, Beauguard wouJld get the win and the $ 500 first-place check Then it would be the main event of the day and final race of the 2025 season as the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified would battle for 50 laps and the $5,000 first place check. It would be to see Michael Wright get the lead off the start of the race, although it would be short-lived as Donovan Lussier would get around him and take the lead, and there would be a battle between him and Jamy Begor for a bit as they went after the lead. Then there would be another challenger, such as Travis Brunobut. In the end, Donovan Lussier would get the win. In his winning effort, he would also be crowned the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified champion for the second straight year, beating out Travis Bruno by just 8 points in the championship. Gallery

Evan Roberts (50x) with the pass on the highside of Chris Cayea (18) for the lead in the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified non-winners event, and Roberts would get the win in the end. It would be the start of championship weekend from the Airborne Park Speedway to finish the 2025 season and the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified, Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified, 500cc Mini Sprints, Mini Stocks, 9th State Cannabias Renegades, Crown Vics, and Enduro. After all the heat racing was done, it was on to the features for the day. The first event out of the box would be the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified non-winners event, a 25-lap race. Chris Cayea would take the lead off the start and would establish a good-sized lead on the field. However, there would still be a challenge coming from the likes of Evan Roibert, and in the closing lap, he would chase him down, take the lead, and get the eventual win. Then it would be the first segment of the 500cc Mini Sprints event, and it would see Gage Provencher get the lead off the start, but Scott Bachand would challenge him in the 15-lap event, and Bachand would get the first stage win, and they would settle the overall winner on Sunday in the 15-lap segment two. Then it would be on to the Crown Vics in their 15-lap event, and it would see a great battle up front for the early point of the event between Eric Friend and Richie Turner. Friend would take control of the race when Turner would find the turn four wall, but they will be back at it again Sunday to finish off the doubleheader. Hen would have the last Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified feature of the season for 25 laps a. Itould see Adam LaFountain get the lead off the start of race and get a huge lead going Brogan Roberts would do his best to try and make it close but just had no answer also on the day Kobe Hernandez would be crowned the 2025 Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified track champion as he would win the title by 83 over Parker Dermody. Then the 9th State Cannabias Renegades would take center stage for their first of two features on the weekend, and Tyler Irwin would get the lead off the start of the race. Still, he would be quickly challenged by Billy Thwaits for the lead, and he would hold on to get his first win of the season and all but lock up the title for Tylor Terry. As long as he shows up on Sunday, he will be crowned the 2025 track champion. Then it would be the Mini Stocks in their 20-lap event, and Josh Laporte would take the lead at the start of the race. Still, he would have challengers coming after a few quick cautions in the race that would re-rack the field, and Ryan Senecal would get around him for the lead. Still, Senecal would have a challenge down the stretch in the likes of Speedy Bressette, but would get the win and also be crowned the 2025 Mini Stock track champion. Then, to finish off the day of racing would be the 50-lap enduro, which would see Bobby Hamel take the lead at the start and hold it until about the halfway point, when Walter Scram would pass him for the victory, ahead of Randy Martin and Beau Reeves. Jason Quenneville (813) with the pass on the lowside of Matthew Wade (510) for the lead and eventual win in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified. Stove Depot Night at the Prelude to the 2025 championship took place at Devil's Bowl Speedway, featuring the Sunoco Sportsman Modified, O'Reilly Auto Limited Sportsman Modified, Hoosier Novice Sportsman Modified, Friends Construction 500cc Mini Sprints, Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks, Crown Vics, and Enduro Series all in action. After the heat races, the first feature of the night was the Sunoco Sportsman Modified, where a three-way battle for most of the 30 laps involved Frank Hoard III, Vince Quenneville, and Jim Nagle, all vying for their first win of the season at the track. Ultimately, Vince Quenneville powered past Jim Nagle to take the victory, with Derrick McGrew Jr. finishing third. Next was the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman 25-lap event, a contest between two championship contenders with two races remaining. Jason Quenneville secured his first win of the season, extending his points lead. The Hoosier Novice Sportsman Modified 20-lap race saw James McLellan lead from the start, but mid-pack charger Aiden Benoure overtook him in the closing laps to earn his second win of the season. The Friend Construction 500cc Mini Sprints 15-lap race resulted in Quinn Quenneville’s first win of the year, completing the Quenneville family’s triple on the night as he advanced from mid-pack. In the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks, the first of two feature races, Chase Allen, making one of his first starts of the season from the back, charged through the field to win. The second Mini Stock feature saw Kaleb Shepard make a comeback from the back, racing alongside Jon Jordan for the win, with Shepard ultimately prevailing. The 20-lap Crown Vic event was contested between top points leaders TJ Knight and Eric Friend, with Knight securing the victory and both heading into the final race of the season tied. To conclude the evening, a 50-lap Enduro saw Dan Desforges start 21st, charge through the field, take the lead within a few laps, and walk away to claim his second season win. Gary English (53) and Parker Dermody (10) battle for the lead through turns 1 and 2, which would see English make the pass late for the win. It would be the 15th race of the 2025 season from the Airborne Park Speedway as we would start the last month of the season with a bang as the Canadian Big Block Series in there 5th season would make there first ever appeance to the track and $5,000 would be on the line for the winner and a championship as it would be there last race of the season series, Along with the Big Blocks, the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified, Pro Stocks, 9th State Cannabias Renegades, Crown Vics, Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified, and Mini Stocks were all in acton. After the heat races, it would be onto the features for the night, and the first one out of the box would be the Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified for 20 laps, and Parker Dermody would get off to the lead off the start of the race. Still, Gary English would be on the chase from his 4th place starting spot, and the two of them would duke it out for the win, and Gary English would get the win on a pass in the closing laps. Then we would have the 9th State Cannabias Renegades for 25 laps, and eleven cars would take the green, with Billy Thwaits taking the lead off the start. Still, the man who would be dominating the season would be coming as Tylor Terry would get around for the lead and claim his 9th race win of the season. Then it would be time for the big show as the Canadian Big Block Series would take the track for their 775-l75-lape event. Zero cars would take the green flag to the big payday. Jack Speshock would get the lead off the start of the race with an early challenge from Jackson Gill for the lead, and then he would start to pull away. Still, there would be a charge coming from the middle of the pack in the likes of Felix Roy and Tim Fuller, and around lap, Felix Roy would get around Speshock for the lead, and Fuller would keep coming and eventually battle Roy for the lead in the closing laps. There would be a pair of green and white checkers to finish the race, and Felix Roy would get the win over Fuller and Gill and also claim the championship in the series. Then it would be on to the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified, and 27 cars would take the green in the 25-lap race. It would see Fire Swamp get the lead at the start of the race. Still, it would be in hot pursuit early from Jamy Begor as he was trying for his first win in a couple of seasons, but Fire would slowly keep pulling away. Still, there would be another challenger coming late in the race as Michawl Wright would be looking for his second win in three weeks, but in the end, Fire Swamp would hold on for the win. Then we would have the Pro Stocks, with ten cars taking the green as they chase the $ 1,000-to-win purse. It would see Zack Daniels get the lead off the start of the race, but he would have a challenger the whole night in the likes of last year's track champion, Marc Lalonde, but Daniels would hold on to get his second win of the season at Airborne Park Speedway. Then the Crown Vics would come to the track as seven would be in attendance as they race for 15 laps, and Eric Friend would get the lead of the start, but he would have to deal with former Renegades champion Richie Turner, and halfway through, Turner would get around him for the lead and then hold on for the win. Then the last race of the night would be Mini Stocks. It would see Randy Martin get the lead at the start of the race and get out to a big lead, but Tyler Bell would keep chipping away at the difference, and then in the last corner of the last lap, Martin would slide off the track in three, and Tyler Bell would go around him for the win. Gavin Fleury (413) would capture his first career victory in the Hoosier Novice Sportsman Modifieds in just his third ever start. It would be the second day of the Vermont 200 weekend from the Devil's Bowl Speedway, and there would be another five divisions in action, along with the big go, the 10,000 to win Sportsman Modified. The other divisions in action that day were the Hoosier Novice Sportsman Modifieds, Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks, Friend Construction Mini Sprints, and the Renegades. The first feature on the second day of the Fabian Vermont 200 would be the Hoosier Novice Sportsman Modifieds with their 20-lap feature. It would see 16 cars take the green flag. It would see Gavin Fleury jump out to the lead at the start of the race and have a battle with James Mclellan for the first part of the race, but in the late stages, Rob Steves would do his best to get around Fleury for the win. Still, in the end, Gavin Fleury would lead all 20 laps for his first career victory in just his third ever race. Then it would be the Friend Construction 500cc Mini Sprints that would have a three-segment event on the weekend to decide their winner, and Quinn Quenneville would take the win on Saturday in segment 1. hen on Sunday they would run the second and third stage and Destin St. Clair would get the second stage and it would be interesting coming to the third and final stage as there would be a four way tie at the top to decide it. The winner of the third stage would be Tyler Whittemore. Still, by virtue of a second-place finish, Gage Provencher secured the overall win, scoring points due to a fifth-place finish in the first segment, a third-place finish in the second segment, and a second-place finish in the last segment. Then, making only their second appearance at the Devil's Bowl Speedway, the Renegades would battle it out, and Josh Bussino would lead the race wire to wire for the win. Still, all the excitement would come in victory lane when he would propose to his long-term girlfriend, and she said yes. Then we would have the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks for their 15 lap event, and Kyle Jordan would take the lead at the start of the race and hold it to around the mid point of the event when Brian Blake would get around him for the lead, and the battle would be on between him and Chris Charboneau for the win. Brian Blake would be the eventual winner. Then it would be time for the one we had been waiting for all weekend, as it would be the running of the 8th Fabian Vermont 200 for the Sunoco Sportsman Modified. The question coming into the race would be: would anyone have anything for Matt Janczuk, as he had won the last two? There would be 69 cars entering the event for their shot at the $10,000 prize. We would be taking 38 to the main event, so qualifying would be intense throughout the day, starting with Time Trails. With that being the case, everyone would be after the fastest time in Time Trails. Matt Janczuk would set the fastest time with a 19.125 and take the $200 bonus from Bill McGaffin Photography. Then it would be on to the heats, and we would take the top three from the six heats to the main event. The rest would be headed to the Consis, and the winners of the heats would be Matt Janczuk, Jim Nagle, Brent Warren, Dave Camara, Kevin Chafee, and Derrick McGrew Jr. Then, there would be three Consis. We would take the top 4 to give us 30 for the main event, but the rest would have one more chance to get in the big show through one of the two B Mains. However, the winners of the Consolations would be Cody McPherson, Payton Talbot, and Marty Kelly III. Then it woud be onto the B Mains where the remaining 39 cars would be split in to two B Mains where the top 2 would make the show giving us 34 cars in the main and transfering from them would be Tanner Siemons Nick Heywood, Tony Finch and Max Dolliver and there would be four provisions handed out to Gary English, Vince Quenneville, Adam Piper and Nick Zielinski. Then we would finally have our 38 cars for the Fabian Vermont 200, and it would see Donovan Lussier get the lead off the start. Aj Munger would stick his nose in there and lead a couple of laps, but Donovan Lussier would take most of the first half of the event. Although Brian Calabrese would challenge him, he would also lead for a significant portion of the event. Then there would be a challenge from Matt Janczuk, and Lussier would hold him off until he meets an opponent's tire, and Janczuk would take the lead. Over the last thirty or so laps, there would be a challenge from Payton Talbot, as he was looking for the double after winning the 358 Modifieds the day before. However, in the end, Matt Janczuk would hold on and take home his third straight Fabian Vermont 200. The $10,000 rounding out the field would be Payton Talbot and Cody McPherson. Chris Murray (76) and Brandon Piastka (7) side by side through the corner as they battle for the win in the Midgets win in the 20-lap event on day one of the Fabian Earth Movers Vermont 200 weekend. It would be the opening day of the 2025 edition of the Fabian Earth, and there would be eight divisions on tap, with the main event being the O'Relly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified 40 lapper, with the winner getting a spot in the Vermont 200 tomorrow. The other divisions that would be in action would be the Midgets, Friend Construction Mini Sprints, Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks, Hoosier Tires Novice Sportsman Modified, Dirtcar 358 Modifieds, Sunoco Sportsman Modified, and the 9th State Canabias Crown. After all the heat races were run, the first feature of the night would be the Friend Construction Mini Sprints, with their first of three segments, a 15-lap event. It would see Tyler Whittemore jump out to the lead at the start. Still, Quinn Quenneville would come charging from his 5th starting spot and battle for the lead, eventually getting by Tyler Whittemore for the lead and ultimately winning the event. Then we would have the Midgets that would make their lone appearance of the 2025 season at the Devil's Bowl Speedway, and they would battle it out for 20 laps. It would see Brandon Piastka take the lead, and then the chase would be on from Chris Murray, who would eventually pass him for the lead. Piastka would then retreat to the field, allowing Murray to take the win on the afternoon. Then it would be the Dirtcar 358 Modifieds in there 30 lap event that would see 19 of them take the green flag and would see Payton Talbot get the wire to wire viictory as it would not be without competition from Justin Ston that he go side by side with for many laps and see Tim Fuller come up from his 10th place starting spot and try and chase down Talbot for the win. Still, he would come up short and finish second as he would have too many lap cars in the way, and Justin Stone would finish out the top three. Then it would be a Shootout for the Sunoco Sportsman Modified for the Non-Winners, with 11 of them taking the green for the 25-lap event. It would see Justin Comes get the lead at the start of the race. Still, there would be a late race caution that would bunch the field back up, and Brent Warren would get the best of Comes on the restart and take the lead and ride it to the victory. Then it would be the main event of the afternoon with 22 of the Hoosier Tires Limited Sportsman taking to the green flag in the 40-lap event, with the spot in the Vermont 200 on the line. It would see Katrina Leclaire jump out to the lead at the start of the race, and she would slowly keep pulling away and making the lead bigger. Still, there would be caution around the halfway point of the event, which would tighten the field, and that would play into the hands of Jason Quenneville and Gary English. There would be a duel on the stretch that would see both English and Quenneville get by Leclaire, and then the battle would be on between English and Quenneville for the win, and in the end, Gary English would see the checkered flag first and take the spot in the Vermont 200 tomorrow. Then we would have the 9th State Cannabias Crown Vics for their 15-lap event, and it would see Eric Friend go wire to wire for the win. However, he would have competition from TJ Knight for the win, and Knight would extend his points lead to 6 as they come down the stretch for the title. Then, to conclude the afternoon of racing, a Last Chance Qualifier for the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks would take place, with Kenny Tourville securing the win and the 19th starting spot in the main event tomorrow. Also getting in the show would be Cody Dion, Clem Bell, Chris Hewitt, and Jayde Pope. Shawn Duquette (18 and Nathaniel Guay (55) battle right to the checkered flag as they go for the win the Renegade second heat race. It would be the 15th race of the 2025 season at the Airborne Park Speedway. The Sportsman Modified Special 50-lap event, with a $1,500 to win purse, would also secure a starting spot in the Vermont 200 in a couple of weeks. Additionally, the Hartson Total Opening Small Block Modifieds, Renegades, Limited Sportsman Modified, and Mini Stocks would be in action. After all the qualifying was done, the first feature of the night would be the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds as 16 cars would take the green flag for their 330-lap event. Tanner Siemons would get the lead off the start of the race, but his car would have trouble and just shut down off turn 4. On the issuing restart, , it would be a battle for the lead between Jordan Fornwalt and Thomas Cook Although there would be a challenge coming from mid pack as the top 2 in the points, Mike Mahaney and Felix Roy, and when the dust settled, Mike Mahaney would get his second win in a row over Felix Roy. Jordan Fornwalt would round out the top three. Then it would be the main event of the evening with the 50-lap event for the JS Steel Sportsman Modified It would see Nick Heywood start on the pole and lead all but a few laps for the win, but that does not mean he drove away with the victory, as he would have challengers throughout the night in the likes of Vince Quenneville and Travis Bruno, as he would claim the $1,500 check and the start in the Vermont 200. Next up is the Limited Sportsman Modified, featuring a 15-lap event. Parker Dermody takes the lead at the start, but it's short-lived as David Johnson charges in and takes the lead, cruising to his second win of the season. Then we would have the Renegades in their 220-lap event, and it would see Tyler Irwin get the lead off the start and battle with Rolland Guay for the lead. Then, at the midpoint of the race,, there would be aa restart,, and Brad Bushey wouldoverdrivee the tur, sendingt the leaders, spinning out andm allthe way to the bac Then non the restart it would open the door for the points leader Shawn Duquette to take the lead and not look back for the win over Nathaniel Guay and Josh Terry. To finish off the night, the wild Mini Stocks would take to the track for their 15-lap affair. The early battle was between Haiden Bourdeau and Jeremiah Ki, with King leading until they both dived into the corner, got loose, and went off the track. After that, the cream would start to rise to the top as Jake Fountain and Ryan Senecal would get out front and battle for the win, and Fountain would get the win, and Jeremiah King would round out the top three. It would be the 12th race of the season at the Devil's Bowl Speedway. It would be the Night of Features presented by Friend's Construction, featuring the Sportsman Modified, Limited Sportsman Modified, Novice Sportsman Modified, Mini Sprints, Crown Vics, and Mini Stocks all in action. The first feature of the night would be the Friend Construction Mini Sprints. Gage Provencher would charge through the field to secure his 6th win in the last seven races, but he would face a challenge from Alyssa Vanderpool. Then we would have the Hoosier Tire Novice Sportsman Modified in their 115-lap affair that would see Jim Mattison take on all challengers and get his first-ever victory. Then it would be the headline division, the Sunoco Sportsman Modified.
The race would feature a battle up front between Joey Scarbrough and Brent Warren, with Scarbrough emerging victorious and extending his points lead. Next, the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified would take the stage for its 20-lap race. A battle for the win would ensue between the early-season points leader, Alex Layn, and Cody O'Brien, with Layn emerging victorious. Then, it would be the 9th State CCannabisCrown Vics in their 12-lap contest, where Jarrod Colburn would secure his first win in the division. Then we would start the second round of features with the Friend Construction Mini Sprints and would see an early race crash that would take out 3 of the top 4 in the points. However, that would not take away from the competition up front, as it would be a great race between Alyssa Vanderpool and Levi Cram to give Vanderpool her first win of the season and tighten up the points race. Then it would be the second feature for the Hoosier Tire Novice Sportsman Modified.
The race would be intense up front, with Hurlburt, Matt Little, and Chris Sumner fighting for the win. Ultimately, Trevor Hurlburt would emerge victorious. Then it would be the second feature for the Sunoco Sportsman Modified, and the race would be between Randy Ryan and Billy Lussier. It would see the hometown kid, Billy Lussier, get a very popular win. Then it would be the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified in their 20-lap event. It would be an early race battle between Katrina Leclaire and Kyle Kerr, with Leclaire having the lead. Still, there would be a man in a red suit who would stick his nose in the fight as Bob Kilburn would first get by Kyle Kerr for second. Then he would take the fight to Katrina Leclaire, take the lead about halfway through the race, and secure it, ultimately taking it to the house for the win in front of a crowd that would be going insane. Then we would have a pair of split mains for the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks and the first one would see a great batrle between Anthony Johnson and Jaco Mallory for the lead and win until the last few laps when Mallory would wash up and take him and Johnson out as they went for the win in the closing laps and Adam Stewart would inherit the lead and take the win. In the second feature, Damian Olden and Jeremy Brownell would compete, with Brownell securing the feature win. To finish off the night, the 9th State Cannabis Crown Vics took place, with Brad Cram charging from his last-place starting spot to battle Ward Colburn and Chad Merrill for the win. Also in action on this evening would be the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds, J+S Steel Sportsman Modified, 9th State Cannabias Renegades, and the Limited Sportsman Modified. After all the qualifying was done, the first feature of the evening would be the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds, and there would be 14 cars that would take the green for the 30-lap feature. The early race up front would be between George Foley and Tanner Siemons, and it would see Foley pull away for the lead. Although it would see Mike Mahanney overcome his 9th place start and battle Foley for the lead, and take it as they went high in turn one for the lead, from there Mahanney would cruise away for the win and extend his points lead over Tim Fuller as we are closing in on the track championship. Next up is the Mini Stocks, with $1,000 to win in a 20-lap event featuring 24 cars. It was clear that everyone was after the big pay, as it took multiple attempts to get past one lap on the board. There would be a good battle up front most of the race between Speedy Bressette, Glen Engstrom, and Nick Harnden, who would swap the lead on multiple occasions. Still, there would be a hard charger coming from deep in the field of JP Corrow, and after there was some contact coming into the last corner on the last lap, Corrow would be able to sneak by and get his 4th win of the season and claim the $1,000 first-place check. Then it would be time for the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified and there 25 lap event that would see Chris Cayea get the lead off the start but it would be Michael Wright that would get around him for the pass and would hold that lad ao the last lap when the yellow call would go out setting up a two lap dash for the cash. In the front row for the restart would be Michal Wright, the six-time track champion Nick Heywood, and Michael Wright would get the good start and hold on for his first career win. Then we would have the Renegades for their 220-lap race, and it would see Nathaniel Guay go wire to wire for his first win of the season over Shawn Duquette and Brad Bushey. To finish off the night, the Limited Sportsman Modified would take the stage, with Sarah Ann Lauziere going wire to wire for the win, wrapping up the night of racing. Tyler Peet (9) comes to the checkered to capture the Sportsman Modified win and the two-thousand-dollar first-place check. It would be the second straight night of action for the Short Track Super Series as they would head down the St. Lawrence River and Route 37, making their second annual trip to the Mohawk International Raceway and the running of the Showdown at the Border, along with the Sportsman Modified and the 4 Cylinders After all the quafying races were done the first main of the night would be the Short Track Super Series and there 50 lap evet and the race would actual go caution free but that would not mean the racing wasn't intense on the track. Jackson Gill would take the lead from the start of the race and would hold it until around lap 15, when Mat Williamson passed him for the lead. From there, Williamson would pull away from the field. The battle for third place that night would be between Matt Sheppard, David Hebert, and Chris Raab, with each taking third at different times. Ultimately, Matt Sheppard secured third and completed the podium. As for the winner, it would be Mat Williamson for the second straight, and he would cash in the ten grand check. Although Matt Sheppard would continue to pad his points lead in the North Series by 131 points over David Hebert. Next up would be the Sportsman Modified for their 335-lap event with zero cars in the pit. However, only the top 26 would be selected for the main event. The event would also go caution-free for the 35 laps. Josh Jock would take the lead from the start and try to pull away from the field as they pursued the $2,000 first-place check. Although there would be challenges, such as a pair of ine cars with Tyler Peet and Joe Toth, and with around ten laps to go, Tyler Peet would get around him for the lead and get the win on the night, and also keep his points lead on the STSS series. To finish off the night, the 4 Cylinders would take the stage, with 27 starting, as they pursued the $800 first-place check in their 20-lap event. The race would see CJ Lavair start on the pole and lead the whole way for the win, although he would have a challenge from the winner of the previous night at Can Am Speedway, in the likes of Corey Valade, and moving up 11 spots from where he started, Mathieu Voghell would round out the podium. The Mohawk International Speedway will be back in action on August 15 with a regular show, along with backpack giveaway night. Sportsman Modifieds Joe Toth (9) Mason Rogers (44) and Fire Swamp are in a three wide battle as they dive into turn one as they fight for a top ten. It would be the first-ever visit to the Can-Am Speedway for the Short Track Super Series, and the Gloves Will Come Off 51 for the Big Block Modifieds. Also in attendance would be the Sportsman Modified and the 4 Cylinders. After all the heat races were run, the first feature of the night would be the main event of the evening with the Short Track Super Series. Twenty-two cars would make the bell to battle for the $5,000 first-place prize. The leader at the start would be Zack Payne. He would be pulling away until there was a mid-race caution that would bunch up the field, and Matt Williamson would start on the outside, and that would be it, as Matt Williamson would take the lead and just be pulling away. The show of the race would be watching Matt Sheppard come from the back of the pack after a mid-race pit stop, picking them off, but he would just run out of time, finishing 5th on the night. As for the win, it would go to Matt Williamson and Tim Fulle, and Chris Raabe would round out the top three. Next up would be the STS Sportsman Modified, as they would send 26 cars to the ring to go after the $$ 1,051 win. As for the race, it would be over before it got underway, as Donovan Lussier would start on the pole and go wire to wire for the win, although it would not go without challenge, as Cedric Gauvreau would get second, and Tyler Peet would finish out the top three. The night would conclude with the 4 Cylinders, which might have been the highlight of the night. The top four, Corey Valade, Tony Frezzo, Francis White, and Jared Gibson, would trade the lead throughout the race until Corey Valade pulled away down the stretch to claim the win. It would be the ninth race of the 2025 season from the Devils Bowl Speedway, and it would be Rutland Regional Medical Center Local Heroes Night, with all six divisions in attendance. The O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified Twin 20s would be the headliner of the night. After all the heat races were completed, the first feature of the night would be the first of two twin 20s for the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified. It would be a battle up front between mother and daughter for the victory as Bobbi Hults would get the win over her daughter Katrina Leclaire in the 20-lap affair. Next up would be the Friend Construction 500cc Mini Sprints, where John Smith would take the lead from the start of the race. However, the defending track champion, Gage Provencher, would chase him down from a considerable distance and secure his fourth win in his last five races.
Next up would be the Sunoco Sportsman Modified for their 30-lap event, where Brent Warren would take the lead from the start of the race. However, it would be short-lived, as Dave Camara would pass him for the lead, and then the battle would be on between him and defending track champion Tim LaDuc. LaDuc would get to the line first for his first win of the season. Then on track would be the 9th State Cannabis Crown Vics for their 15-lap event, which would once again see Eric Friend get the win over TJ Knight for his fourth win of the season. Then we would have the Hoosier Novice Sportsman Modified for their 220-lap event, a nd it would see Mark McGinnis lead the whole race for his first career victory. However, it would not be without competition. There would be multiple green-white-checkered finishers in the other race. Then it would be time for the second of the Twin 20's for the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified. It would see Tyler go wire to wire for the victory. Then it would be time for the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks that would have split features on the evening and would see Dawson Thompson get the lead off the start of the first one, but Jeremy Brownell Jr would get chase him down from the 14th starting spot and get around him for the win after Thompson pulled off In the second feature for the Mini Stocks it would see Brian Blake get the lead off the start of the race. Still, this time it would be the other half of the Brownell racing family getting the win on the night, completing the father-son wins of the night. Then, to finish off the night, it would be an Enduro 50 lap event, and it would see its third different winner of the season, as Jason Porter would start at the tail of the field and come all the way up for the victory. It would be the ninth race of the 2025 season at the Devil's Bowl Speedway, marking the time for the mid-season championships. There would be double features for all divisions in attendance. The first feature we will discuss is the pair of features for the Sunoco Sportsman Modified, each consisting of 25 laps. In the first feature, the battle up front would be between Josh Leclaire and Adam Piper. Leclaire captured the flag for his first win of the season. In the second one, Raelin Dunham would start in the next-to-last row and work her way up for the win, keeping the point standings close as they entered the second half of the season. Then it would be time for the Friend Construction 500cc Mini Sprints featuring the dirty dozen. In the first one, Jordan Zakrzewski would take the lead at the start of the event, but Gage Provench, starting from the next-to-last spot, would work his way up for the win.

Then it would be two 20-lap features for the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks. Cody Dion would get the lead off the star, but early-season points contender Tyler Bell would come charging from the 13th starting spot for the win on the night. Then in the second feature, Damian Olden would get the lead off the start of the race, but Ryan Patch would charge up from the 7th spot and get his first win of the season when it would be the 9th State CaCannabisrown Vics in their air of 1212-lapeatures a. In the first one, it would be a battle between Brad Cram and T.J. Knight, and Knight would get the win. Still, it would not be an easy one, as Felix Roy would challenge him for the win, but the Flash would secure it. Jackson Welling (21) celeberates his first career victory on the Limited Sportsman Modified tour at the Mohawk International Raceway. It would be the return of the Super Dirtcar Series to the Mohawk International Raceway for the first time in over five years. Joining them for the Summer Shootout 75 presented by Sovereign Cannabis would be the Sportsman Modified, Limited Sportsman Modified, and the Mini Stocks. After the heat races were run, it would be on to the features for the evening, and first one up would be the Mini Stocks for their 20-lap event and $1,000 to win. Corey Valade would get the lead off the start of the race, but he would have a challenge from Sebastien Raymond Beaugard, and Beauregard would eventually get around him for the win. Then we would have the Limited Sportsman Modified and see Jackson Welling take the lead at the start of the race. He would be challenged most of the event by Grayson Adderley, but Welling would cross the line first for his first career victory. Then it would be time for the Dirtcar Sportsman Modified East Series event, where we would see Elliott Gamache take the lead at the start and not look back. He would have Shane Pecore trying to chase him down that night, but he would be no match for him. Then it would be time for the main event of the evening, the Summer Shootout 75 for the Super Dirtcar Series event, where Alex Yankowski and Stewart Friesen would battle for the early lead. Although Mat Williamson who had been the class field all year long on the series would come up and throw his name in the mix and him and Stewart Friesen would have a battle for the ages as they go after the $7,500 first place check and on his night Stewart Fresien would get the best of Mat Wililamson and the Batman Peter Britten would round out the top three. The main event of the evening would be the Sunoco Sportsman Modified Firecracker 44, where Josh LeClaire would take the lead from the start. Still, he would soon face a challenger in Derrick McGrew Jr., and they would battle for a while. Then, Joey Scarbrough would make his way up from 16th, fight for the lead, and eventually win the Firecracker 44. Then it would be time for the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified. Bobbi Hults would take the lead at the start of the race, but she would eventually be challenged by Kamden Duffy, who would get to the line first for his second win of the season. It would be the eighth round from the Airborne Park Speedway, and it would be time for the mid-season championships, and all five of the weekly divisions would be in action on the night. After the heat races were done, it would be onto the main events for the night, and we would start with the headliner division, the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds. It would see Dave Camara get the lead from the start of the race. Still, the two that have been dominating the early part of the season would come charging from the fifth row, like Mike Mahanney and Felix Roy. On this evening, Mahanney would get to the checkered flag first, with Felix Roy second and Thomas Cook rounding out the top three. Then we would move into the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified for their 25-lap event. It would see Jason McClatchie start on the pole and take the lead off the start and not give it up for the rest of the night, but we would have a challenge in the likes of Lonnie Rivers, but he would come up just short, and McClatchie would get his first win in over a year. Then we would move into the 9th State Cannabias Renegades, and it would be a battle between the two, starting at the front row throughout the event between Josh Terry and Rolland Guay. On this day, Josh Terry would get to the line first. Then we would go to the Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified to watch Garin Thompson and Parker Dermody battle it out for the 15-lap event. In the end, Garin Thompson secured the first win of the season. Then, to finish off the night, it would be the Mini Stock in their 15-lap frenzy. Jeremiah King would take the lead at the start of the event and hold it for most of the time, but a hard charger like JP Corrow would come on strong, ultimately winning the night. There would be seven division in action on the night as the Dirtcar 358 Modifieds would make there first apperance of the season along with the Sunoco Sportsman Modified, O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified, Hoosier Novice Sportsman Modifieds, Friend Construction 500cc Mini Sprints, Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks and the 9th State Canabias Crown Vics. After all the qualfying races were done the first main event of the evening would be the 9th State Cannabias Crown Vics for there 15 lap affair and it would see Norm Morrill get his first win of the season going wire to wire as he he would be the first to stop Eric Friend and his undefeated streak on the season. Then it would be time for the Friend Construction 500cc Mini Sprints, a 15-lap affair that would see Christopher Pierce take the lead from the start. There would be a battle between him and Destin St Clair for the lead in the early portion of the event. Still, a couple of hard chargers would emerge from the back half of the field, sticking their nose in the fight for the win. Among them would be Raymond Hanson and Scott Bachand, who would see Bachand secure his first career win after 42 years. Then it would be time for the Dirtcar 358 Modifieds to have their first feature event of the season from the Devils Bowl Speedway as they would battle for 30 laps. It would see Joey Scarbrough get the early lead of the race, but the battle upfront would be between a couple of the best in the 358 division as Mike Mahaney and Felix Roy would duel it out for the win, and this time it would be Mahaney getting the win. Then we would have the Hoosier Novice Sportsman Modified in there for a 20-lap battle. Jason Kerr would take the lead from the start of the race, but Aiden Bengive would challenge him for the lead and ultimately win his second race of the season. Then it would be time for the Sunoco Sportsman Modified and there 25 lap race and it would see Nick Brundige get the lead off the start of the race but in the end the race would come down to a battle between brothers as Jim and Randy Ryan and on this evening Jim would get the win for his first of the season. Then it would be time for the main event of the evening as the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified would battle for 55 laps and would see Derrick Counter get the lead off the start of the race. They would have only one caution of the race at lap ten, and the remaining 45 laps would be caution-free. A battle for the win would ensue down the stretch between Matthew Wade and Tyler Travis. On this evening, the racer, Tyler Travis, would emerge victorious, claiming his first win of the season. To conclude the fight, the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks would take to the track for 15 laps. Jakob, Alger would lead most of the race, but a fast-moving fountain would use the bump and run in turn four on the last lap to secure the win. AJ Munger (75) and Marty Kelly III (375) battled for the win during the Sunoco Sportsman Modified 30-lap event, and Munger would get his win of the season. It would be the first trip of the season for the Sprint Cars of New England to the Devils Bowl Speedway, with the other divisions competing on the evening including the Sportsman Modified, Limited Sportsman Modified, Novice Sportsman Modified, 500cc Mini Sprints, and the Mini Stock, all in front of a packed crowd. After all the heat races were run, the first feature of the night was the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified, a 25-lap affair. This feature saw a battle at the front between Katrina Leclaire and Freddie Little, with Little taking the lead and holding on for the win. The main event of the Sprint Cars of New England's 25-lap edition would be a slow start, but once underway, Chase Moarn would charge from tenth place to win, engaging in a multi-lap battle with Kyle Smith for the top spot. Then we would have the Sunoco Sportsman Modified in there thirty lap edition, and for most of the night it would be AJ Munger and Marty Kelly III battling for the lead, which would see Munger pull away. Still, there would be a late race charge from Josh Masterson for the win, but Munger would hold on for the win. Then we would have the Friend Construction 500cc Mini Stocks for their 15-lap go-around, and for the early part of the race, it would be a battle between John Smith and Christopher Pierce for the lead. They would trade it back and forth a few times, but the defending champion Gage Provencher would charge to lead and secure the win late, earning his third win of the season. Then we would have the Hosier Novice Sportsman Modified for their 20-lap event, and it would see Mark McGinnis have the lead off the start, but Matt Little would come up from his 4th place start to lead and pull away for the win to give the Little family their second win on the night. To wrap up the night, the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks would take to the track for a 15-lap time race. They would complete eight laps, with Jerry Jordan emerging as the winner. Katrina Leclaire (12) and Kamden Duffy (42) battle for the lead in the OReilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified 25 lapper that would see Duffy get his first win of theseason. It would be the annual return of the Short Track Super Series to the Devils Bowl Speedway for the fourth edition of the Slate Valley this time, though going 67 laps along with the Sunoco Sportsman Modified, O'Reilly Auto Parts Sportsman Modified, and the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks. The night's first feature would be the main attraction with the Short Track Super Series and the Slate Valley 67, which would see Felix Roy get the early lead of the race. Still, Matt Williamson would run him down and take the lead. The two off them would put on a great battle for the lead but with around 25 laps to go Stewart Fresien would get around Roy and take the second place and then the classic battle would be upfront between Williamson and Fresien with Fresien closing in there would be a caution with ten laps to go and on the restart Matt Williamson would be off. Fresien had no answer, and Williamson would win on this day with Fresien second and Felix Roy third. Then it would be on to the Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified and their 20-lap race, and it would see Adam LaFountain get the lead off the start of the race. Still, the battle upfront for most of the race would be between Kamden Duffy and Katrina Leclaire, with Duffy earning a late race pass for the win. Then it would be the Sunoco Sportsman Modified for their 30-lap race, and see Brian Whittemore get the lead off the start. Still, he would have a challenge for most of the race in the likes of Joey Scarbrough, and Scarbrough would get the best of him on this night for the win as Whittemore and Siemons would finish off the top three. Then to finish off the night, there would be a pair of Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stock features, and it would see Jacob Mallory and Jeremy Brownell getting the wins on the night. It would be second night of racing in three days at the Airborne Park Speedway as it would be topless night for dad at the track wit the Sportsman Modified, Limited Sportsman Modified, Renegades, Mini Stocks, Mohawk Vintage Series, Pro Stocks, and Crown Vic's in action along with the Enduro for 50 laps. After all the qualifying, the first feature would be the Mohawk Valley Vintage Series with their four divisions on tap. The winners would be Frank Hoard Jr in the Late Models, Jack Miller in the Modifieds, Mark Wheeler in the Antique Division, and Scott Straight in the Mystique Division. Then we would have the JS Steel Sportsman Modified with there 30 lap event with 1500 to win would see Caleb Durgan get the lead off the start of the race and do his best to say goodbye to the feild but Fire Swamp would come up from his tenth place start to get to second and battle for the lead. Still, Durgan would get his first career win over Fire Swamp and Codie Aubin. Then it would be 9th State Cannabias Renegades and their 20 lap race, and it would see a battle between the Tylers as Irwin and Terry would go after the lead, and this time would see Terry win for his fourth win of the season. Then we would see the Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified come out for their 20-lap race, and Kobe Hernandez would win over Parker Dermody as he would increase his lead in the season-long points battle. Then, in the Pro Stock 25-lap affair, it would see hometown boy Zack Daniels go wire to wire for the win, but it would not be without competition from Marc Lalonde. Then we would have the Crown Vics for their 15-lap main that would see Richie Turner get the lead off the start and hold for about the first half of the race, but then Eric Friend would catch him and take the win for his second straight in the Crown Vics at Aiborne. Then, to finish off the regular racing on the night would be the Mini Stocks for the 15-lap contest that would see Jamie Whitney get the early lead, but Kenny Tourville would keep charging and get the lead and eventual win, which would be hugely popular with the crowd. Then it would be the 50 lap enduro to finish off the night that would see the Enduro specialist, Richie Turner, get the early lead of the race, but Michael Wright would keep charging and get past him for the lead and win in the last laps. It would be the Battle of Plattsburgh from the Airborne Park Speedway, as it would be the only stop of the year for the Dirtcar 358 and Sportsman Modified tours, also in action were the Renegades, Mini Stocks, and Limited Sportsman Modified. Forty cars would show up for the 358 Modifieds and the Sportsman Modifieds divisions as they would fight for one of the 28 starting spots in the main events. The 358 Modified Series 75 lap race would see Adam Pierson get the lead off the start, but it would be short-lived as Jarrett Herbison would get the lead a few laps in, and he would try to go out there and hide. Although the cream would rise to the top, the fight for the win would come down to Matt Williamson and Felix Roy, and capturing the checkered flag and the 5,000 dollars would be Matt Williamson, with Felix Roy and Mike Mahaneney rounding out the top three. Then we would have the Dirtcar Sportsman Modified East Series race that would see a great show up front between Donovan Lussier and Vince Queneville. Lussier would get across the line first for the win. Still, there would be technical issues, and the top two would be Dq, and Zach Buff would inherit the win. Then we would have the 9th State Cannavias Renegades for their 20-lap affair that would see Tyler Irwin get the lead off the start of the race, but as it has been all season, the battle for the win would come down to Shawn Duquette and Tylor Terry, and Duquette would win this go around. Then in the Limited Sportsman Modified, Lea Jeanne Lauziere would get her first career win, getting redemption for her spin out while leading the race last week. Then, to finish the night, there would be a pair of Mini Stocks features that would see Ryan Senecal and Tyler Warren getting the victories to finish the night of racing. Gallery

Adam Piper (66) and Brian Whittemore (36) battling for the win in the Sunoco Sportsman Modified that would see Adam Piper get the win on the night. It would be the third night of racing from Devils Bowl Speedway on the 2025 season, and it would be the annual night of destruction event with the 50-lap enduro added to the card, as there would be over 120 cars in the pits, plus the enduro cars. After all the heat racing, it would be on to the features. We would have the Sunoco Sportsman Modified for their 30-lap event starting on the 31st. We would have Brian Whittemore and Adam Piper on the front row, and Piper would get the lead of the start with a challenge from Whittemore for the first couple. Then he would start to pull away, but then there would be a challenge from James Hanson for the next couple. After that, Piper would check out on the field and cruise to his first win of the season. Then we would have the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Spoersman Modified for their 25-lap event, and 23 would take the green, and the battle would be up front between Ed Bell and Marty Hutchins for the win. Ed Bell would get the checkered first. Still, the scale would get him as he was 12 lbs light on the scale, handing the win to Marty Hutchins. Then it would be onto the Hoosier Novice Sportsman for their 20-lap event, and that would see Aiden Benoure start from the pole and go green to checkered for the win and his first of the season. Then in the Friend Construction Mini Sprints, there would be a pair of features, and both of them would see a battle up front between the same two racers, Raymond Hanson and Quinn Quenneville, as they would go back and forth throughout the races, but Raymond Hanson would get the sweep on the evening. Then, to finish off the main night of racing, it would be the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks, and it would see a great battle up front between Tyler Bell and Chris Charboneau, with Charboneau edging out Bell for the win. Then to finish off the night of racing it would be the 50 lap enduro and it would see Brent Wilbur get the lead of the start of the race bt there would be a hard charger coming as Dan Desfrges would charge his way to the lead and from there check out on the field and claim his $500 first place check. Jordan Fornwald (24 and Jeremy Roy (90jr) battled for the lead in the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds, which would see Roy get around him for his first career win at the Airborne Park Speedway. After two weeks off due to Mother Nature the Airborne Park Speedway would come back to life wth all five weekly divisions back in action on Hometown Heros Night with the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds, JS Steel Sportsman Modified, 9th State Cannabias Renegades, Mini Stocks and the Hoosier Tire Limited Sportsman Modified as we would have 85 entries in the pits. After all the qualifying was done, the night's first feature would be the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds for their 30-lap affair, where Jordan Fornwalt would get the lead off the start of the race. Still, there would be a pair of chargers coming from the middle of the field, like Jeremy Roy and Mike Mahaney, and would see Jeremy Roy get around Fornwalt for the win and his first career at the Airborne Park Speedway. Then we would have the 9th State Cannabias Renegades for their 20-lap event, and Tyler Irwin would get the early lead. There would be an early battle between him and Nathaniel Guay for the lead, but the cream would rise to the top as Taylor Terry and Shawn Duquette would come and challenge for the lead, and Terry would get the lead late to get his third win of the season in just six races. Then it would be onto the JS Steel Sportsman Modified for their 25-lap race. It would crowd favorite Jamy Begor start on the pole and take the lead and hold it throughout most of the night until a hard charging Nick Heywood would come up from his 14th starting spot and battle for the lead and get the lead without five laps to go to secure the win over Begor and Donovan Lussier would round out the top three. Then it would be time for the Mini Stiock 15 lap event to see five cautions in the first four laps of the race. Once the chaos got out of the way, they would do the last 11 laps caution-free, and Glenn Engstrom would take the lead. Still, Ryan Senecal would come charging from the 15th starting spot and win the game over Steven Bressette and Glenn Engstrom. Then to finish off the night, it would be the Hoosier Tire Limited Sportsman Modified for their 15-lap race, and it would see Raelin Dunham get the lead off the start. It would hold til inside the final five laps when she was battling with Kobe Hernandez for the race lead, and Hernandez would take the lead. Off the restart, it would see Hernandez and Parker Dermodey go after the lead as Hernandez would get his second win of the season. The Airborne Park Speedway will be back in action next Thursday, June 12th, when the Dirtcar 358 and Sportsman Series invade the speedway, and then two days later, the track will be back in action for Toppless Night for the Sportsman Modified. Gary English (53) and Kamden Duffy (42) battle for the lead and the win during the Limited Sportsman Modified feature that would see Gary English come across the line first. It would be the fifth edition of the Northeast Crate Nationals from the Devils Bowl Speedway with 100 laps and 5,000 on the line for the Sportsman Modified after two straight days of rain pushed the show to Memorial Day Monday. The other divisions that would be in action that evening would be the 9th State Cannabias Renegades, O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified, Renegades, Friends Construction 500cc Mini Sprints, Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks, and the Hoosier Tire Novice Sportsman Modified. After all the qualifying was done the first feature out of the box would be the Crown Vics and Bradford Cram would get the lead off the start of the race but there would be a hard charger coming from the back and would see Eric Friend come and take the lead and get his second straight feature win. Then we would have the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified for their 30-lap feature, and it would see Kamden Duffy get the lead off the start of the race. He would hold it for most of the event until there was a late race restart, and it would see a duel between him and Gary English that would see Gary English cross the line first for the win. Then next up would be the Renegades for their 20-lap feature, where they would see Tyler Irwin get the lead off the start, but Josh Bussino would keep fighting and get around Irwin for the win and the $500 first-place check. Then we would have the Friend Construction 500cc Mini Sprints for their 15-lap race, and there would be a battle up front for most of the race between Gage Provencher and Quinn Quenneville, until the closing laps when they would touch wheels in turn four, sending Quenneville flipping into the catchfence, ruining his night. Then there would be a two-lap shootout to finish the race to see Jenna Zak get around a wounded Gage Provencher for the win. Then it would be time for the main event of the evening, the 100 Sportsman Modified Northeast Nationals. It would see an early battle for the lead between Brent Warren and Chad Edwards that would go to Edwards. Still, the real battle would be the one between Edwards and Lussier that would see them trade the lead back and forth as they would duel for that first-place check, and in the end, the check would go back North of the Border as Donovan Lussier would get to the checkered flag first and capture the win. Then there would be a pair of Mini Stock features. The first one would see Ron Alger get the early lead, but the Airborne Speedway invader, Jake Fountain, would come from an 8th-place start to go after the lead and win on the night. The feature would be a race marred in cautions and wrecks that would end two laps short of its scheduled distance and see Jeremy Brownell get his first win of the season. Then, to finish the night, it would be the Novice Sportsman Modified for their 20-lap event. It would see Raelin Dunham get the lead off the start of the race and hold it for a while, but Rob Steves would keep coming and get around her for the lead and get his first career Novice Sportsman Modified win to conclude the day of racing. It would be the 5th night of racing from the Airborne Park Speedway, powered by the New England Ford Dealers, and the main event of the evening would be the 30-lap 9th State Canabias Renegades $500 to win. To start the night off, it would be the Hoosier Tire Limited Sportsman Modifieds with their makeup feature from the rain-shortened event from a couple of weeks ago, and it would see Gary English go wire to wire for the win. Then it would be the heat races for this week's races, and when those were done, we would be onto the features for the May 15th event, and the first one up would be the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds. It would see Tanner Siemons get the lead at the start of the race and hold it for most of the race. Still, there would be challenges from Felix Roy, Justin Stone, and Favid Hebert, and on a late race restart, it would see Felix Roy get around Siemons for the win and take the points lead in the early stages of the season. Then we would have the main event of the evening with the 9th State Cannabias Renegades $500 to win, 30 30-lap event. It would see Josh Terry get the lead at the start of the race and have an early battle with Roland Guay, but he would fade away. Then Brad Bushey would be in the fight, but there would be a hard charger coming from the last row start, Shawn Fountain, and it would be a three-way battle down the stretch for the checkers and checkers, and with the pass on the highside, Brad Bushey would get his second win of the early season. Then we would have the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified for their 25-lap event. We would see the cagey veteran Bucko Branham start on the front row and get the lead off the start of the race. Still, he would have a challenge from Mike Phinney for most of the event. Still, a hard charger would come from deep in the field, like last year's points champion Donovan Lussier, who would come from 17th and get up to fourth before the checkered dropped. Bucko Branham would get his first win since the middle of the last season and move into 4th in the early-season points. Then we would have the Mini Stocks for their 15-lap event, and see Tyler Van Weort getting the lead at the start of the race. Still, he would have a challenge from Haiden Bourdeau in the early stages, and then we would see Steven Bressette and Lightning McQueen make their way to the front, and we would have a duel at the front between him and Ryan Senecal for the win that would see Bressette get the checkered flag. Then to finish off the night it would be Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified for there second feature on the night and t would see Parker Dermody get the lead off the start of the race and the battle would be between him and Gary English who would be going for the sweep on the night and when it was looking like Dermody would get that first win English would come around for the lead and get the win for the sweep on the night. JP Corrow (1) with the highside pass on Tyler Bell (8b) for the win in the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks for the opening night win. After a rainout in opening week and the second week getting pushed back a day, it would be opening day at the Devils Bowl Speedway. The 59th season opener and the feature event would be the Matt Bilodeau Memorial 3200 to win for the Sportsman Modifieds, along with the Novice and Limited Sportsman Modified, 500cc Mini Sprints, Mini Stocks, and Crown Vics in action. After all the qualifying races had been run, it would be onto the features for the night. The first one up would be the Friend's Construction 500cc Mini Sprints for their 15-lap event that would see 16 take the green flag, hungry for the first win of the season, and would see Christopher Pierce get the lead off the start of the race. Still, the lead would be short-lived as Scott Bachand would get around him for the lead, hold it till a late race incident, see Raymond Hanson get around him for the lead, and hold on for the win. Then next up would be the Hoosier Novice Sportsman for their 20-lap race, and would see 13 racers take the green. The race would see Matthew Cram get the lead at the start and not look back as he would win on opening day over Trevor Hurlburt. It would be the main event of the evening, with the 32-lap 3200 to win Matt Bilodeau Memorial Sunoco Sportsman Modified event. It would see Dave Camara get the lead off the start of the race and for most of the eent there would be a battle between him and Josh Sunn for the lead as they went back and forth but there a racer moving up and charging from the middle of the pack to challenge for the lead and that would be Joey Scarbrough. In the closing laps, he would find his way around Josh Sunn and Dave Camara to get the win and cash the check for 3200.
Then we would move into the O'Reilly Auto Parts Limited Sportsman Modified for their 25-lap affair, and 25 racers were set to go after the season opener win. The race would see Gary English get the lead off the start, but it would be short-lived as William Duprey would get around him for the lead and take it to victory. Then we would be onto the Fisher Auto Parts Mini Stocks and see 29 cars take the green flag for their 15-lap event. Most of the race would be a battle up front between Tyler Bell and JP Corrow, and in the closing laps, Corrow would get the lead as Bell slipped up, and Corrow would continue his winning ways on the early part of the season. Then, to finish the night, the 9th State Canabias Crown Vics would see Eric Friend win the 20-lap event wire to finish the night of racing. Shawn Duquette captures the checkered flag during the first feature on the evening with the 9th State Cannabias Renegades. It would be the second week of the Thursday Night Thunder Series, and this week we would have double features for the Renegades as part of the rain-shortened event from the week before, along with the spectator races. The evening would start with the makeup for the Renegades feature from last week's rain-shortened event. It would see Shawn Fountain get the lead at the start of the race over Nathan Irland Guay. Still, there would be a battle up front between Shawn Duquette and Shawn Fountain through the middle part of the event that would see Duquette get the lead and take it to the house for the victory over Fountain and Tylor Terry. Then we would run the heat races for the races that were scheduled this week, along with the Spectator races that were run at intermission, which would see RJ Rivera get the win. Then, for the night's first feature, we would have the Dirtcar 358 Modifieds that would see Tanner Siemos and Justin Stone start on the front row, and Stone would get the lead off the start of the race. There would be a battle up front between him and Jordan Formwalt for most of the event but there would a hard charger that would come up from his 12th starting spot and put his nose in the fight down the stretch and that would be Mike Mahanney but it would not be enough as Justin Stone would get the win on this night. Then we would have the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified and see Brent Warren get the lead off the start over Jason McClatchie, and there would be a duel between them for the first few laps. Although there would be a pair of hard chargers that would make there way up from the 18th and 16th starting spots and get there nose in there and that woiuld be a pair of champions in the names of Donovan Lussier and Nivk Heywood, Lussier would get the lead late and score his second win of the season over Warren and Heywood. Then we would have the Mini Stocks for their 15-lap event, and it would see Jamie Whitney get the lead off the start of the race over Kyle Hart, but the battle up front for the early part of the race would be between Whitney and Harnden. Although as in the earlier races on the night there would be charge from middle of the pack this time from JP Corrow that would see him get by Whitney in the last five laps and then the battle would be on up front between Corrow Blake and Botala that would see Corrow get his second right win on the season. Then we would have the Hoosier Tire Limited Sportsman Modified for their 15-lap event and would see Parker Dermody get the lead off the start of the race over Lea Jeanne Lauzire, but Garin Thompson would come up and get by both of them for the lead and ride that to his first win of the season. Then to finish off the night of racing, we would have the second 9th State Cannabias feature on the day that would see Josh Terry get the lead off the start of the race and see him and Tyler Irwin go after the lead in the early stages. Still, Taylor Terry would come up from his eighth-place start and get the lead and second win. JP Corrow (61) and Tyler Bell battle for the lead and the win in the late stages of the race that would see Corrow get his first win of his career. It would be the third round of racing from the Airborne Park Speedway and the first Thursday Night Thunder of the year, and the five main divisions would be in action with the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds, J+S Stell Sportsman Modified, 9th State Cannabias, Hoosier Limited Sportsman Modified, and the Mini Stocks. After the dust would settle from the heat races, it would be onto the Main Events of the night, and the first one up would be the Hartson Total Opening 358 Modifieds for their 30-lap show, and Carey Terrance would get the lead off the start of the race. Still, the lead would be short-lived as Jeremy Roy would get around him in a couple of laps and be the field class until late in the race when he would need to pull off for a flat tire. Off the late race restart, Tim Fuller would get the lead of the restart, but David Hebert would come charging and get the lead and the win on the night. Next up would be the Mini Stocks for their 15-lap event, and Nick Harden would get the lead off the start of the race for the first few laps. A big wreck on the start-finish line would block the track and bring out the red flag. Harden would keep the lead off the restart, but there would be a charge from JP Corrow, and he would get around Holden in the closing laps and close the deal for his first career win. Then we would have the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified for their 25-lap event and see Codie Aubin get the lead off the start of the race. Still, he would have a challenge on the night as Robert Laware would stay with him most of the race, but there would be a charge from Donovan Lussier from the 18th starting spot up to second, but he would just run out of time, and Aubin would get his first win of the season. However, that would be the end of racing on the night, as the rain would come in and end the night before we could get the Renegade or Limited Sportsman Modified feature. Donovan Lussier (61), Travis Bruno (33), and Shane Pecore (0) battle three wide of the corner for the lead during the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified 40-lap 2 to win feature. It would be the second week of the from the Airborne Park Speedway and it would feature the Sprint Cars of New England presented by McGee's Auto for there season opening 360 sprint race along with the Sportsman Modified $2,000 to win, Limited Sportsman Modified, Renegades, 500cc Mini Sprints, Mini Stocks, and Pro Stocks. The racing would get going after a brief delay on the night with the rain, and the first feature would be the 500cc Mini Sprints for their first visit to the track of the season. There would be eight cars for their ten-lap feature. Jenna Zakrzewski would get the lead off the start of the race, but after some issues in the heat race, Chris Pierce would charge from the back of the pack, take the lead, and get his first career win in the division. Then we would move on to the 2 thousand dollar to win 40-lap feature for the J+S Steel Sportsman Modified. It would see Travis Bruno and Jamy Begor battle for the lead at the start of the race, and Bruno would prevail. Still, there would be a challenge coming from the back as both Fire Swamp and Donovan Lussier had problems in the heat race and had to go to the last chance qualifier to make the show; they would come up from the tenth row. They would put on a battle for the fans as they went after the win, and in the end, Donovan Lussier would get the win for his first of the season as he tries to duplicate last year's division high seven wins, as Fire Swamp and Cory Castell round out the top three. Then it would be the Mini Stocks and their fifteen-lap event. It would Jeremaih King get the lead off the start of the race and have a nice early race battle with Jason Bradley and then battle would be up front between the teammates as Jake Fountain and Ryan Senecal would duke it out for the win and on this day it would be defending track champion Ryan Senecal getting the victory. Then it would be time for the feature event of the night the Sprint Cars of New England 360 tour would bring 16 of the best sprint cars from new england and Canada to battle it out for 25 laps on the half mile, Travis Billington would get the pole but the lead would short lived as Jeff Trombley would get the early lead of the race. Still, there would be a charge from Jordan Poirier and Matt Tanner, and Poirier would get his second straight win at the Airborne half mile. Then it would be the first appearance of the season for the Pro Stocks, and there would be 18 strong. It would see Denis Gauverau get the lead at the start of the race. Still, it would not be a runaway as Sid Harmer kept it close as he tried to chase him down, and it would see multi-time champion Luke Horening come from the middle of the back and charge to third, and at one point have a chance at the lead. Then we would have the 9th State Cannabis Renegades on deck for their 20 lap event, and it would see Brad Bushey go wire to wire for the win, but it would not be without stiff competition from Tylor Terry and Tyler Irwin, as he would get his first ever win on dirt. Then, to finish off the jammed back night of the race, it would be the Hoosier Tires Limited Sportsman Modified, with their 15-lap event, and it would see Kobe Hernandez with the go-away victory for his first career win. The Airborne Park Speedway will be back in action next Sunday April 27th as part of Bike Giveaway night with eight divisions in attendance 358 Modifieds, Sportsman Modified, Limited Sportsman Mofified, Renegades, Mini Stocks, Pro Stocks, 500cc Mini Sprints and the Crown Vics as it will be the last event before they start there regular thursday night racing. It would be the 2025 season opener from the Airborne Park Speedway, and it would be the earliest in the 71-year history of the track, as we took the green on April 13th, and it would mark the return of the Airborne Park Speedway under the Dirtcar banner after a year away. Jake Fountain (22) and Glen Engstrom (17) battle for the win down the stretch as they go after the win in the 15-lap main for the Mini Stocks. The season would start with the 2nd annual Leon Gonyo Memorial, 4 thousand to win for the 358 Modifieds and two thousand to win for Sportsman Modified, along with the Renegades, Crown Vics, Limited Sportsman Modifieds, and Mini Stocks, as there would be over 130 cars in the pits. After all the time trials, heats, and last chance qualifiers were done, it would be onto the mains, and the first one up would be the Crown Vics. It would be a six-car field and see Richie Turner get the lead-off start, but Eric Friend would come up challenging from his last row start, take the lead, and cruise to the win, as we would get our second straight Crown Vic win at the Airborne Speedway. After the intermission, it would be onto the Sportsman Modified 2 thousand to win 30 lap main event. It would see Fire Swamp get the early lead from the early start of the race. Still, there would be a challenge up front from an old rival as the six-time track champion would come up and battle for the lead with Nick Heywood, and just over halfway through the race, he would take the lead. Still, it would not be without challenge as Swamp and Donovan Lussier would stay in sight and challenge for the lead, but Heywood would win today. Then it would be onto the main event of the evening, the Leon Gonyo Memorial, a 4 to win 358 Modified 40 lapper. It would see Felix Roy go wire to wire for the win, and it would be a Roy 1-2 finish. Jeremy would finish second, and then Jackson Gill would get third to round out the top three. Then we would be onto the Renegades for their 20-lap feature and see last year's champion, Shawn Duquette, get the lead off the start of the race. Then the final race of the evening would be the Mini Stocks, a 15-lap event, and 25 cars would take the green. It would see Jake Fountain get the lead at the start of the race and would be sailing around in the lead, but there would be a late race surge from Glen Engstrom, but it would come up about a car length short at the checkered flag, and Jake Fountain would get the opening win of the season.
