The game would be tight through the first quarter as both teams were feeling each other out and were tied at 10. In the second quarter, though, we would see the true Nighthawks come out, as they would have a 21-7 quarter to take a convincing 31-17 lead into the halftime break. When the teams returned for the second half, the Hornets would do their best to keep it close, but they couldn't get any closer, as the Nighthawks led 20-15 at halftime and secured the 51-32 victory. The game would be tough for the Cardinal offense and the Kangaroos defense, as the Cardinals would put 40 shots on net but be able only to get 1 by Canton's Molly Lenihan, as Piper Smith would get the lone goal for the Cardinals at the 15:31 mark of the third period, as they would get the 1-0 victory. In the Cardinals' winning effort, Chloe Lewis made 17 saves for the shutout, as they go to 10-5 on the season, while Canton falls to 9-6-1. The game would start tight as both teams' shots fell, and the Hornets would lead 14-12 at the end of the first. The fast-paced offense would continue for both teams in the second quarter, as the Hornets outscored the Hornets 18-12 and took a 32-24 lead at the intermission. When the teams returned for the third quarter, the Red Storm defense would be on display, holding the Hornets to just 9 points. But the Hornets' defense would be right there as well, and the Red Storm would only have 12, and it would be 41-36 Hornets headed to the fourth. In the fourth quarter, the Red Storm would give the HHornets their worst, as they tied the game a couple of times down the stretch and won the quarter 18-1. The game would start well for the home Dynamo, as they would get the opening goal from Ashtyn Catlin at the 3:01 mark of the period. The Knights would answer just 26 seconds later on the Alexandre Maniakhine goal to make it a 1-1 game. The Dynamo would have their own answer, retaking the lead at 2-1 on a Brock Spaulding goal, and that's how the first period would end, 2-1 Dynamo. The Knights would come back to tie the game at two on the Benoit Gagnon goal at the 3-07 mark. Then at the 10:49 mark of the period, he Knights wwould takethe 3-2 lead on the Raphael Lizotte ppower-play goal Then in the 13th minute of the period the Dynamo would get two goals in 38 seconds from Elkhan Abibekov and Tanner Hamilton as they retake the 4-3 lead, Then with just 1:26 left in the period the Knights would tie for the third time thanks to Noah St-Laurent and that's how the second ended. The Knights would come out swinging in the third period, and just 15 seconds in, take the 5-4 lead thanks to Cooper Martinea. The Dynamo would not give up, though, as they came back again and tied the game at five on Colton Warren's goal at the 6:32 mark of the period. Then, with just 20 seconds left in regulation, the Dynamo would bang in the game-winner once again from Colton Warren for the 6-5 victory. In the winning effort, the Dynamo's Cade Kavanuagh made 42 saves as they improved to 13-19 on the season.
