Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Peru Indians September 29th 2017
Plattsburgh's Madeleine Woodward (19) goes one on one with the Peru defender in the offensive zone looking for some space. It would be a crosstown match up in the C.V.A.C. as the Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Peru Indians. The Hornets would get the opening goal of the game from Madeleine Woodward at the 28th minute as the Hornets would take the 1-0 lead. Then just over a minute later the Hornets would extend there lead to 2-0 as Elisa Rodriquez would find the back of the net. The game would stay there till the second half when the Hornets would extend there lead to 3-0 on the Brina Michaels goal at the 51st minute. Then the Hornets would put the icing on the cake in 68th minute on the Kathleen Sullivan goal to secure the 4-0 victory. Peru Indians Vs Beekmantown Eagles September 9th 2017
Beekmantown's Cris Arzola (23) goes up the middle carrying tackles for the first down and would get the eventual game-winning touchdown and in overtime. It would be week two of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and it would be the classic rival game between the host Peru Indians and the visiting Beekmantown Eagles. The Indians would streak first on the Keagen LaGrave (26) 6 yard run halfway through the first quarter for the 6-0 lead. The Indians would strike again when Keagan LaGrave would score on the pass play with 2 minutes left in the 2nd quarter to make it 13-0. The Eagles would strike right back on a 60 yard run by Cris Arzola to make it 13-7 after the 1st quarter. In the second quarter Eagles, Cris Arzola would tie the game on a 51-yard run at 5:12 of the quarter. Then in the final minute of the quarter the Eagles would take the lead on the touchdown pass to Evan Burnell for the 19-13 lead at halftime. When the teams would come back for the second half Austin Carpenter (3) would get the scoring started for the Indians on a touchdown pass at 4:24 of the third to make it 20-19. In the final minute of the quarter, Austin Carpenter would strike again to make it 27-19 after the third quarter. The Eagles would strike back and tie the game at 27 just under two minutes into the fourth quarter with Evan Burnell's second score to tie the game at 27. Then about half way through the fourth the Eagles would take the 33-27 on Cris Arzola's third score of the game. Then with just under two minutes left in the game, the Indians would tie the game at 33 and send it to overtime. In the overtime period, the Indians would get the play first and score on Ryan Connell quarterback sneak to make it 40-33. The Eagles would get a chance to match them and force and force another overtime. With that Eagles possession, Cris Arzola would score although the Eagles would go for two and succeed and get the 41-40 victory. In the winning effort, the Beekmantown Eagles go to 1-1 as the head back on the road against Moriah Vikings. With the lose the Peru Indians fall to 0-2 on the season as they will host the 0-2 Saranac Lake Red Storm.Gallery.

CVAC Class B Semi-Finals: CVAC Class B Semi-Finals #1 Plattsburgh Hornets Vs #4 Peru Indians

This would be a tight game throughout the day and would eventually need two overtimes to decide it. Section VII Wrestling Championships Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Wrestling February 11th 2017

Peru and Northern Adirondack wrestle battle for position in the 150lb weight class Northern Adirondack would eventually win the class. It would be the section VII sectional championships from Peru. The five schools that would be competing would be Peru Saranac, Ausable Valley, Northern Adirondack, and Beekmantown. All class winners would advance on to the New York State wrestling championships in two weeks in Albany. The eventual school champion would be Peru followed by Saranac. Gallery

Section VII Wrestling Sectionals February 11th 2017
Saranac's Johnny Devins going for the pin of the Peru wrestler in the 143 class finals. It would be the section VII sectional championships from Peru. The five schools that would be competing would be Peru Saranac, Ausable Valley, Northern Adirondack, and Beekmantown. Section 7/10 Challenge Malone Huskies Vs Peru Indians January 14th 2017
Malone's Hunter Swan(5) with the floater in the lane for the score. It would be the third game of the Section 7/10 Challenge as the Malone Huskies would face off with the Peru Indians. The Huskies would job out to the 21-14 lead at the break. When the teams returned for the second half the Indians would claw the whole way and win the half 36-29 and force overtime tied at 50. In that overtime period, Malone would win it 9-4 and secure the 59-54 victory. With the loss, the Peru Indians fall to 4-8 while Malone goes to 6-7 on the season. Gallery.
Section VII Class B Championship: #1 Beekmantown Eagles Vs #2 Peru Indians October 29th 2016

Peru's Evan Palmer (3) with the leaping catch along the sidelines over Beekmantown's Chris Arzola (23). It would be the classic rivalry for the Section VII Class B Championship as the #1 Beekmantown Eagles would take on the #2 Peru Indians. The Eagles would fire the shoot and take the 7-0 lead after the 1st quarter. In the second quarter the offenses would come alive and combine for 35 points and the game would be deadlocked at 21 at the half. When the teams came back for the third quarter the defenses would show up as the Indians would get the only score to take a 28-21 into the fourth quarter. In that fourth quarter, the Peru Indians would outscore the Eagles 13-8 and secure the 41-29 victory. In the winning effort, the Peru Indians advance to the New York State playoffs and will take on the Potsdam Sandstoners in the first round. Gallery

The Peru Indians pose for there team photo as they are crowned the 2016 Section VII Class B Champions. It would be the classic rivalry for the Section VII Class B Championship as the #1 Beekmantown Eagles would take on the #2 Peru Indians.
