Plattsburgh State's Jordan Caldwell (27) came in on the breakaway and had her shoot just poked to the side to keep the game tied. In the NCAA Semi-Finals, it would be an east vs west showdown as the #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #6 St. Thomas Tommies. It would be a great game between two evenly matched teams that both would have their chances. When it was all said and down though there would just be on game scored in the game as Allison Era would light the lamp with 4:49 left in overtime on the power play to give the Cardinals the 1-0 win. In the winning effort, Sydney Aveson would get another shutout victory as she stopped all 30 shots on the night as the Cardinals advance to the National Championship against the #2 Norwich Cadets. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals celebrate at center ice as they advance to the National Championship with an overtime goal. In the NCAA Semi-Finals, it would be an east vs west showdown as the #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #6 St. Thomas Tommies. It would be week five of the second session of the Indoor Flag Football League as the Adirondack J's would play the Pink Panthers. The tempers would definitely show up during the game as the Adirondack J's would have a 38-16 lead after the first half. In the second half the Pink Panthers would do there best to get back in the battle and win the half 29-22. The deficit would just too much to overcome as the Adirondack J's would get the 60-45 win. Plattsburgh State's Sydney Aveson (33) with the blocker save that she sends to the corner as part of a 24 save night. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #10 Williams Ephs in the Quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament. The Williams Ephs would be looking for the upset as they would score just 1:15 into the first period on Gabrielle Vukasin goal to give the Ephs the 1-0 lead. The game would stay there till there was 1:27 left in the first and Ali Vakos would tie the game up at one. The Cardinals would make some obvious adjustments as Ali Vakos would score just 28 seconds into the second for her second of the night and give the Cardinals the 2-1 lead. Then at the 12:11 mark of the second period, Ali Vakos would finish off the natural hat trick and give the Cardinals the 3-1 lead. Then just 31 seconds into the third period Ali Vakos would strike again and have a texas hat trick for the 4-1 lead and from there the Cardinals would hold on for the win. In the winning effort, Sydney Aveson would make 24 saves on the night and the Cardinals head to the final four next weekend where they will take on St. Thomas. Gallery

Plattsburgh State's Bridget Bailsy (21) hauled down from behind and crashes into the net as she goes for goal. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #2 Elmira Soaring Eagles in the Championships of the ECAC-West Conference. The Cardinals would take the 1-0 lead at 9:04 of the first on Giovanna Sense's goal. The Soaring Eagles would come right back and tie the game up at one just 55 seconds later on Ashley Ryan's goal. The Cardinals would take the lead back at 1:35 of the second period on Alyssa Parke's goal to make it 2-1. Although the Soaring Eagles would come back and tie the game up again at 14:35 of the second on the power play on Anna Tude's goal. The Soaring Eagles would take there first lead of the game at 3:41 on Erin Weston's goal to make it 3-2 Soaring Eagles. The Cardinals and Shannon Stewart would come back and tie the game at 3 at 7:03. Then the Cardinals would regain the lead at 4-3 on Tyne Gove's goal at 9:48 and from there on they would hold on for the 4-3 victory. In the winning effort, Sydney Aveson would make seventeen saves as the Cardinals now head to the NCAA Tournament for another run at a national title. Gallery
