That is where the game would remain until the 63rd minute when the Bulldogs would increase the lead to 2-0 on Wayne Cowan's rebound goal. That would be enough for the Bulldogs as they would hold on for the 2-0 win. In the winning effort, Josh Trombley would just need to make one save for the shutout victory. The game would remain scoreless until the 34th minute when Nick Ashline would score on the header to give the Bulldogs the 1-0 lead assist to Chad Slater. The game would remain there until the 69th minute when Nick Ashline would score again for the Bulldogs this time hitting it off the crossbar and in to make 2-0 Bulldogs with the assist going to Seth Young. Then just two minutes later when Seth Young would score on the breakout to make it 3-0. The Larries would try to get back in the game with a goal just 20 seconds later on Matthew Frary to make it 3-1 but that's as far as they would get. The Bulldogs would hang on for the 3-1 victory. The Malone Huskies would get the scoring started in the 4th minute on Kody Mulverhill's goal to make it 1-0 Huskies. The game would remain there till the 30th minute when the Huskies would and Kody Mulverhill would score again and make it 2-0 Huskies. The Huskies would finish off the scoring in the 37th minute on Isiah Parendore's goal to give the Huskies the 3-0 win. In the winning effort, Malone's Austin Lamay would stop for in the shutout.
