It would be week 8 of the Indoor Flag Football League as the #10 Plattsburgh Honeybadgers would meet up with the #14 Plattsburgh Mod Squad in a late-season tilt. It would be a game that would be the tale of two halves as the Mod Squad would have a 42-19 lead at the break. In the second half, the Honeybadgers would slowly start making their comeback and win the half 36-12 and get the 55-54 win on a last-second touchdown by Quenton Barber. With the win, the Honeybadgers finish the regular season at 4-4 while the Mod Squad is 2-6. Gallery

NCAA Division III Men's Hockey #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs #13 Williams Ephs Janaury 17th 2015

Plattsburgh State's Luke Baleshta (23) with the in zone face-off win. The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with #13 Williams Ephs in a nonconference battle between the top 15 teams at the Feild House. The Ephs would take the quick 1-0 lead on Craig Kitto's goal just 1:17 into the first period. Then the Ephs would extend the lead to 2-0 Dan Doherty's goal at 9:23 of the first period. Then at the 12:38 mark of the first period, Craig Kitto would get his second of the night to make it 3-0 Ephs after the first period. Then at the 3:42 mark of the second period, the Ephs would pick up where they left off and Craig Kitto would finish off the hat trick to make 4-0 Ephs. Then at the 7:11 mark of the second period, David Itlianio would make it 5-0 Ephs. Then finally at 14:32 mark of the second period, the Cardinals would get on the board with Patrick Hermans to make it 5-1 Ephs. Although before the period ended the Ephs would regain the five-goal lead at 6-1 on Greg Johnson's goal. In the final period, the Cardinals would try to make a game of it as Patrick Hermans would score twice to make it 6-3 and finish of the hat trick. As the Williams Ephs would get the 6-3 victory as the Cardinals fall to 12-4-2 on the season. Gallery

It would be a SUNYAC Conference battle between foes Plattsburgh State and Cortland State at Memorial Hall. The first half would go back and forth throughout and the Cardinals would have the slim 29-27 lead at the break. When the teams back for the second half the Red Dragons would step up there offensive game and would win the half 38-27 and get the 65-56 victory. In the losing effort for the Cardinals, Devona Pual would lead the way with 15 points as the Cardinals fall to 6-7 on the season. Gallery

SUNYAC Men's Basketball Plattsburgh State Cardinals Vs Cortland State Red Dragons January 17 2015

Plattsburgh State's Jordan Moody (23) would go up and under the basket for the stylish basket. It would be a battle of SUNYAC Conference foes as the Plattsburgh State Cardinals would meet up with the Cortland State Red Dragons at Memorial Hall. The game would be tight all the way throughout the game. The Plattsburgh State Cardinals would have the offense working in the first half as they would have the 28-24 lead at the break. In the second half, it would be flipped and the Dragons would win the half 31-27 to force overtime with game locked at 55. In the extra minutes the Red Dragons would be too much for the Cardinals as they win it 13-10 and get the 68-65 victory. In the losing effort, Reggie Williams would lead all scorers with a game-high 22 points as the Cardinals fall to 9-4 on the season. Gallery

Chateaugay's Devin Labare (5) takes off on the layup to give the Bulldogs two more points. It would be a battle of a couple of the top teams in Section X East Division as the #5 Chateaugay Bulldogs would face off with the St. Regis Falls Saints. It would be a game that would be tight in the first quarter as the Bulldogs would have the 20-15 lead at the end first quarter In the second quarter the Bulldogs would start to pull away as they would win the quarter 14-6 and have a 34-21 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the third quarter they would take complete control as they would win the quarter 28-9 and have a 62-30 lead headed into the fourth. In the fourth quarter the Saints would not give up the fight and win the last quarter 19-16. Although it would not nearly be enough as the Bulldogs would get the 78-49 victory. In the winning effort Bulldogs Tyler Jones would lead the way with 13 points as the Bulldogs go to 8-1 on the season. Gallery

It would be a game that would be the tail of two halves as the GC Warriors would have a big 23-12 lead at the break and were in control. Although in the second half the Raptors would find there stride as they would out score the Warriors 36-24 and would get the 48-47 victory as time would expire. It would be week 7 of the Plattsburgh Indoor Flag Football League and it would pit #6 Dark Knight and #14 Morrisonville Midshipmen. It would be a game that the Dark Knights would be in control from the start as they would have a 30-6 lead at the break. In the second half it would be more of the same with a little better fight from the Midshipmen as the Dark Knights would win it 42-18 to give them the 72-24 victory. With the win, the Dark Knights go to 3-3 while the Midshipmen fall to 3-4 on the season. Gallery

Beekmantown's Josh McCauley (10) would tap in the saucer pass for the goal as he beats the goal stick sideIt would be a nonleague matchup at the Plattsburgh State Field House as the #4 Beekmantown Eagles would meet up with the La Salle Cadets. It would be a game that Beekmantown would be in control from the drop off the puck. The Eagles would get the opening goal of the night from Ryan Waterbury at 6:52 of the first to make it 1-0. Then just over a minute later they would extend the lead to 2-0 on Chris Wawrzynski's goal. Then at 10:31 mark of the first the Eagles would extend the lead to 3-0 on Josh McCauley's goal. Then with a couple of minutes left in the period, the Cadets would get on the board with a goal by Logan DiScanio to make it 3-1 Eagles after one. In the second period Beekmantown's Josh Barriere would score twice about two minutes apart to make it 5-1 after two periods. Then in the third period, the Eagles would continue there offensive onslaught Kyle Constantly would score at 2:28 to make it 6-1 Eagles. Then just 15 seconds later the Cadets Zach Watkins would score to make it 6-2. Then just over three minutes later Eagles Kyle Constantly would score his second of the night to make it 7-2. Then at the 8:32 mark of the third Kyle Constantly would finish off the hat trick to make it 8-2. Then at the 9-minute mark Mike Parent would get in on the act and make it 9-2. The Cadets would add a late one from Sam Brendesse to make it 9-3. Although it would not be enough as the Eagles would get the 9-3 victory. The player of the game would be Kyle Constantly who would have three goals and two assists on the night as the Eagles go to 9-0 on the season. Gallery

It would be a game that the Bulldogs would control from the opening tip throughout and have a 20-3 lead after the first quarter. The Bulldogs would win the second quarter 21-10 to have a 41-13 lead at the break. When the teams back from the intermission the Bulldogs would stay in control and win the quarter 15-7 and have a 56-20 lead after three. In the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs would keep it up and win the fourth 14-7 and get the 70-27 victory. In the winning effort, Tyler Jones would lead the way with 14 points as the Bulldogs go to 6-1 on the season. Gallery.
