The Huskies would get the straight-set victory over the Yellow Jackets getting the easy win in game 1 and needing to work out in games 2 and 3. Malone's Janelle Heden (3) with the spike the back corner for the point. The Malone Huskies would host the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks in there home opener of there Section X season. The Huskies would make quick work of the Lumberjacks getting the quick three-game win in just under an hour. The Huskies would win the games by scores of 25-9, 25-16, 25-10. Leading the way for the Huskies would be Whitney Legacy and Rachel Lamica as the Huskies go to 3-0 on the season. Gallery

The Bulldogs would get the straight-set victories over the Cougars by scores of 25-9, 25-11, and 25-12. The Bulldogs would get great team play from everyone in the victory. With the win, the Bulldogs move onto the New York State Regionals where they will play Section 2 representative Hartford at SUNY Canton on November 10.
