Northern Adirondack Conference Boy's Soccer Chateaugay Bulldogs Vs Norwood-Norfolk Flyers September 26 2013
Chateaugay's Reid LaPlante (2) battles along the sidelines as brings it through the midfield and heads to the attack zone. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would host the Norwood-Norfolk Flyers in Section X action. The game would be a very physical contest with both teams jockeying for position. The Bulldogs would get on the broad first with Jordan Martin's goal in the 11th minute to make it 1-0. The Bulldogs would add another goal in the 36th minute from Chad Slater to make it 2-0 Bulldogs. Malone's Abby McCauley (6) in the midst of her wind up as she would pitch the complete game shutout and strike out eight. The Malone Huskies would host Central Division foe Massena Red Raiders. The game would remain scoreless until the third inning when the Huskies would erupt with six runs. The game would remain there until the 5th when the Huskies would get five more and make it 11-0. Then in the sixth the Huskies would finish off the game with four more to get the 15-0 victory in six. Leading the way for the Huskies offensively was Morgan Fountain who went 2-3 with 2 RBI's On the mound Abby McCauley would get the complete game shutout victory while striking out eight. The Bears would get the early 1-0 lead in the first although the Huskies would answer right back with two in the bottom of the inning to give the Huskies a 2-1 lead after the first. The Huskies would add a run in the third inning to make it 3-1. Then in the sixth, the Huskies would add to more to put the game out of reach and secure the 5-1 win. Leading the way for Huskies would be Janelle Headen with two rbi's along with Erin McDonald with two hits. Abby Sharlow would go five innings striking out five for the win.
