The Adirondack Slow Pitch League would start their playoffs tonight as the #3 Leroux Fuels would take on the #6 Store Tavern in game one of a five-game series. The Store Tavern would take a 1-0 lead in the second. They would extend there lead to 4-0 with three runs in the third. Then in fourth, the Store Tavern would get two, and Leroux Fuels would get one to make it 6-1. Then in the fifth, the Store Tavern would get two while Leroux Fuels would get three to make it 8-4. Then in seventh Leroux Fuels would force extra innings by getting four runs thanks to a three-run homer. With the game tied at eight, the teams would trade runs in the eighth and ninth to keep the game tied at 10-10. The Store Tavern would finish the game in the tenth as they would score two and secure the 12-10 win. The Store Tavern takes the 1-0 lead headed to game two on August 26. Gallery
