Lonnie Rivers (R7) and Jake Speshok (08) battle for the lead in the sportsman modified feature. It would week three of racing at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway and it would be Fire and EMS Night presented by Garrand Motorsports with the 358 Modified, Sportsman Modified, Super Stock, Strictly Stock, and Novice Sportsman Modified on the racing card. The first feature of the night up would be the Chris Frennier Motorsports and from the start it would be the Caleb Tourville and Josh Laporte show at the front until the closing laps when a player would get invovlded Michael Whalen and when the dust settled it would be Josh LaPorte getting win number two of the second. Next up would be the Egglefield Ford 358 Modifieds and there 30 laps feature would go caution free and the battle up front for the win would be between Lance Willix Jake Lehner and Greg Atkins and Lance Willix would take the lead on lap 17 and not look back. Then we would have the popular Porier True Value Sportsman Modifieds and probably be the best race of the night with multiple battles up front for the lead between Adam Pierson Jake Speshok and Lonnie Rivers. Although when the dust settled the win would go to Lonnie Rivers who took the lead with five laps to go. Then we would have the Erine's Discount Tools Super Stocks and for the third week in a row the winner would be Jim McKiernan but that would be not with out stiff competition from the Terry Brothers (Josh and Tylor) as they were looking to stop the streak. Then to finish off the night you would have the Novice Sportsman Modified and it would be the youth that would take center stages as two teenagers would finish 1 and 2 with Felix Roy getting the win and Dale Gonyo Jr second and first week winner Lee Barcomb coming in third, Next week will be kids night at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway with all divisions racing with the return of the Hartson Total Opening Pro Stock.

Luke Whittaker (38) and Mario Claire (22c) battle for the lead in the late stages of the 358 feature event. It would be week 2 at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway and the Dirtcar Sportsman Modified North Region would be in town along with the 358 Modifieds, Pro Stock, Super Stock, and Strictly Stock all presented by Casella Waste Management with 110 cars in the pits. The first feature out for the night would be the Pro Stocks and would see Marc Lalonde get out to a big lead in the 25 lap feature although C.D. Beauchamp would be charging fast at end and come a care length short as Marc Lalonde would win the caution free feature. Next up would be the Dirtcar Sportsman Modified North Region race and with Shane Pecor starting on the pole the teams knew they needed to bring there a game and it was evident the first part of the race. Although he would challenges throughout the night from Travis Bruno, Connor Cleveland and Adam Pierson. On a restart during the second half of the race Travis Bruno would get out front and fend off all comers and get the win and the thousand dollar check. Next up would be 358 Modifieds and that would be another hard fought race between Mario Claire, Steve Bernier, Danny Gagne and Luke Whittaker. Luke Whittaker would take his hard charging car from a 16th starting spot up to the lead and get the feature win. Then we would have the Super Stock division and would be a battle up front for most of the race between Brent Jarvis and Jim McKiernan with the win going to McKiernan for the second week in a row. To end off the night it would be the Chris Frennier Motorsports Strictly Stock and it would be a battle of endurance as they started with eight cars and would finish with four with the win going to Josh LaPorte on late race pass of Caleb Tourville. We will be back in action next week at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway with the 358 Modified, Sportsman Modified, Novice Sportsman Modified, Super Stock, and Strictly Stock as part of Fire and EMS night. 66th Season Opener presented by Harmony Golf Course - Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway - April 27th 2019

Stephen Bernier (25) and Lance Willix (31) battling for the lead in the 50 lap 358 Modified feature. It would be 66th season opener at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway presented by Harmony Golf Course and there would be 85 cars in the pits over 6 divisions ready to do battle and get that season opening win. The main event of the evening would be the 50 lap 2k to win 358 Modified race and it would see a showdown between Stephen Bernier and Lance Willix who would be attached to each other for most of race. At one point where Stephen Bernier slammed it off the front stretch wall and got airborne and would get eventual win. In the Sportsman Modified 2017 season champion Connor Cleveland would return and show why he was championing leading wire to wire for the win. In the first weekly race for the Pro Stock division C.D. Beauchamp would still be the one winner the Pro Stock class has every seen at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway but that wasn't without challenge from Jocelyn Roy coming down the stretch. In the Super Stock class it would be a showdown between Jim Mckiernan, Brent Jarvis and Michael Wright with the eventual win going to Jim McKiernan. As for the Novice Sportsman it would be Lee Barcomb with the wire to wire win and in the Strictly Stock Matt Leonard would do the same to finish off the season openning weekend. Gallery Video DVD

Thunder in the Thousand Island - Can AM Speedway - April 13th 2019

Jessica Powers (52) tried to cut underneath Cedric Gauvereau (22c) and couldn't quite back it and takes the 22C around causing major damage to her own car. It would be the opener of the Super Dirtcar Series and they would return to the Can-Am Speedway for the first time in ten years. It would be the Thunder in the Thousand Island with 41 cars showing up for the Super Dirt Week Qualifier. Everyone's emotions were up for the season opener and it would be evident in the feature race as 31 cars would start and only 16 would finish do to multipile wrecks throughout the race cuasing major damage to many cars ending there night early. Although when the dust settled Matt Shepherd would be the winner of the 10 thousand dollars and the all important automatic qualifying spot for Dirtweek in October. Shepherd's major challenge on the day would come from Billy Dunn and Mat Williamson but they were only able to hang with him for a few laps off the restarts and then Sheppard would slowly just pull away. Super Dirtcar Series Malta Massive - September 21st 2019

Demetrios Drellos (111) celebrates on the roof for his first ever Super Dirtcar Series win and a the granted start in the Billy Whittaker 200 at Oswego. It would be the third day of a three day weekend of racing at Albany Saratoga Speedway for the Malta Massive Weekend. On tap for the last day of racing would be the Super Dirtcar Series, Dirtcar Pro Stock Series and the Limited Sportsman Modified and there would be around 100 cars in the pits for the night. As for the mains on the night first up would be the Limited Sportsman Modified and a driver would come out of hiatus Derrick McGrew would be leading most of the main event until he had car trouble and it shut off down the back stretch and Dave Richner would inherit the lead and cruise to victory. Next up would be the Super Dirtcar Series and there 100 lap event on a very fast track. It would be a very clean race out there with the high speed track as there would only be two cautions on the night. Demetrios Drellos would start out and would say see ya later to the field. That is not to take away from the raceas there was many battles around the track on the multi groove track. In doing so Drellos would get his first ever Super Dirtcar Series victory and the start in the Billy Whittaker 200 at Oswego rounding out the top three would be a great battle between Billy Decker and Mat Williamson. Next up for the Super Dirtcar Series will be Dirt Week at Oswego where Matt Sheppard will have 90 point lead. The last race on the night would be the Dirtcar Pro Stock Series and it would be a battle between the Canadian invades and the Americans as 32 cars would take the green for the 35 lap main event. When the dust would settle Luke Horning would get the win after charging from eight starting spot but that would not be without challenge from Jay Corbin and Josh Coonradt. Gallery

Mohawk Nationals Night 2 - September 14th 2019

Billy Dunn (49) and Matt Williamson (88) battle for the lead during the Mohawk 100 as part of the Mohawk Nationals. It would be night number two of the Mohawk Nationals and it would feature the Can Am Mod Lites, Dirtcar Sportsman Modified North and the Super Dirtcar Series. Between the three divisions there would be a total of 90 cars in the pits. As for the racing on the track it would be the Can Am Mod Lites up first for 20 lap and the win would go to Jeff May as he would dominate the race for the win and also win the series championship. Next up would be the Super Dirtcar Series and the Mohawk 100. The early lead of the race would go to Demetrius Drellos. Although that would be without challenge and Billy Dunn would take the lead around lap 40. Although he would be challenged by and passed by Matt Williamson for the win and get the grauntee spot at the Billy Whittaker 200 at Oswego. Then the last race of the night would be the Dirtcar Sportsman Modified North for 50 laps and Robert Delormier and lead from green to checker for the win although it would be not without challenge as Shane Pecore and Brianna Ladecieur would be up there for the win. Jocelyn Roy (48) and Marc LaLonde battle for the lead during the Hartson Total Opening Pro Stock 25 lap main event Roy would win the race and LaLonde would win the championship. It would be round 18 at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway and it would be Egglefield Ford championship night and three of the five champions would be crowned. The night would start with a couple of make up mains and first up would be the Ernie's Discount Tools Super Stock and the win would go to Jim McKerrian after a great battle up front with Tylor Terry. Then we would have the Chris Frennier Motorsports Strictly Stock with Nathan Smart getting another win although there would be a challenge from Josh LaPorte. Then when the mains for championship night got under way the first one up would be the Novice Sportsman Modified and the win would go to Jason Bonnett getting his first win at the track. Next up would be the would be the Chris Frennier Motorsports Strictly Stock second main of the night and Nathan Smart would couple the double but this time he would have a challenge from Caleb Tourville although it would be the same result. Then we would have the Egglefield Ford 358 Modified and it would be the way that wanted it Steve Bernier wins the race and the title for his second straight track championship. Then it would be the Hartson Total Opening Pro Stock and with the championship on a 6 point gab it was going to be a good one. It would be a battle up front all night long between Jocelyn Roy Marc LaLonde and CD Beauchanp. Beauchamp would have the lead until he and a lap car got into the wall with three laps to go. Then off the restart Lalonde and Roy would go at again and Roy would get the win but Lalonde would be crowned the first ever track champion in the Pro Stock division. Then we would have the Porier's True Value Sportsman Modified and how else would you want the season to end but the top 2 in the points this season at the front going for the win and Connor Cleveland would get the win on the night for number 8 but Adam Pierson would get the track championship. Then the night will finish with the Erine's Discount Tools Super Stock with there second main of the night and it would be the same players upfront but this time Tylor Terry would get the win on the night. There will be one more race weekend at Plattsburgh Airborne Speedway as the Dirtcar Sportsman Modified North and Pro Stock Series come to town along with the Strictly and Super Stock on September 7th. Frenchies Championship Night - August 30th 2019

Harley Brown (8) cuts underneath Kevin Foster (72) for the lead in the Mod Lites main event with the wheels up. It would be Frenchies Championship night at Mohawk International with all 5 division tirles up for grabs. The first main out of the box would be the Bandits and the win would go to Matt Zira after he charged from the last starting position to the win in the 10 lap main and he would also be crowned the season champion. Next up would be the Novice Sportsman Modified and the win would go to Jonathan Rush for first win in just under a year at Mohawk after sprited battle with Dan Beachard and the championship would go to Dan Reif in first year in a Sportsman Modified. Then after the intermission we would be back in action with the Crossroad Tabasco Sportsman Modified and it would be a see saw affair up front between RJ Tressiders and Rickey Thompson with win going to Thompson on a restart with the championship going to Shane Pecore would got a third in the last race. Then we would have the Mod Lites and that would see a fight up between the new series champion Kevin Foster and Harley Brown with the win going to Brown. Then it would be the main event of the evening with the Frenchies 358 Modifieds going 50 laps. It would see Mike Mareseca charge from mid pack to the front and have a battle for the win with Tim Fuller and would see Maresca take the lead with ten to go and hold on for the win. Although the championship would go to Chris Raabe who had a 9th on the night but had enough points in the bag to hold on for the win. Next up at Mohawk will be the Mohawk Nationals a two day show on September 13 and 14 with the Dirtcar Sportsman and Pro Stock Series, Mod Lites, Super Dirtcar Series and the 358 Modified Series.
