Elija Parks (35) stretches out through the pile for the touchdown. It would be week four of the Empire Football League and it would feature the Plattsburgh North Stars and the Glens Falls Greenjackets. In the first quarter, the North Stars would score twice from Elija Parks and Tre Bucci for the 14-0 lead. In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as the North Stars would score three times twice from Elija Parks and once by Harry Rascoe. When the teams came back for the second half the North Stars would continue the dominances as they would score twice to secure the 50-0 victory. In the winning effort, the North Stars go to 2-2 on the season. Their next game will be on the road to play Tri-Cities on August 4th. Gallery.

In the Nick of Time Truck Shootout - Airborne Park Speedway - July 27th 2018

Dayton Roberts and his Chevy Silverado pulls in the Work Stock class in honor of his fallen brother and the namesake of the event and wins both work tock classes on the night. It would be the first In the Nick of Time Truck Shootout at Airborne Park Speedway. It would be all truck all the time as they started with stock trucks and went all the way up to the Semis and 4x4 Pro Stock Trucks. It would be a great night as money would be raised for a great cause through the Chinese auction the 50/50 and the pull itself. The first edition had around 75 hooks on the night. This should be an event that should be around for many years to come. Gallery

Robert Roberts takes his semi down for a great pass and wins the 20,00lbs Semi Truck class. It would be the first In the Nick of Time Truck Shootout at Airborne Park Speedway. It would be all trucks all the time as they started with stock trucks and went all the way up to the Semis and 4x4 Pro Stock Trucks. It would be a great night as money would be raised for a great cause through the Chinese auction the 50/50 and the pull itself. The first edition had around 75 hooks on the night. Michael Wright (78) beats Tylor Terry (44) across the line for the win in the Super Stock feature. It would be regular show at Airborne Park Speedway plus the popular spectator races presented by Vertigo Motorsports. It would be a very clear night with few wrecks in the evening. As for the racing on track the winners on the night would Jessey Mueller (two in a row) 358 Modifieds, Devin Willis (1st career win) Sportsman Modified, Michael Wright (1st of the season) Super Stock, Dave Demore (1st career win) Mini-Modifieds, Shawn Walker 6th win of the season) Strictly Stocks. Airborne Park Speedway will be back in action on July 25th for the biggest show of the year as the World of Outlaws make there first ever appearance to the track Gallery

There would be many different winners on the night throughout the 12 classes that were offered on the night. The classes ranged from Stock all the way up to the pro stock and 2.6 diesel and there would be around 125 hooks on the night. Gallery

It would be a historic night at the Airborne Park Speedway as it would be the first hall of fame class for the Airborne Park Speedway. In a ceremony at intermission the first five members would be inducted Morris Broderick, Charlie Trombley, Bob Bruno, Dick Nephew and Jacky Peterson. As for the racing on track, it would be a night that these induces these halls of Famers would be proud to watch. Three of the five halls of Famers were celebrated during a ceremony at intermission Charlie Trombley (outside), Bob Bruno (middle) and Dick Nephew (inside) all cars are being driven by there relatives. It would be a historic night at the Airborne Park Speedway as it would be the first hall of fame class for the Airborne Park Speedway.
