The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Potsdam State Bears in New England Women's Hockey League action. The Cardinals would take the early 1-0 lead at 3:37 of the first period on Cortney Moriarty's goal. Then in the closing seconds of the first Annie Katonka would score to make it 2-0 Cardinals after the first period. When the teams came back for the second period it would be more of the same for the Cardinals. As the Cardinals would score three times with goals coming from Melissa Sheehan (twice) and Mackenize Millen for the 5-0 lead. In the third period, the Cardinals wouldn't let up as they would score three more times. This time the Cardinals would get tallies from Mackenzie Millen and Annie Katonka (twice that would give Katonka the hat trick on the night as the Cardinals secure the 8-0 victory.
