It would be the second round of the NCAA Tournament and the #16 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the Union Dutchmen. This would be another game that would be tight for the most part and actually be tied at 41 at intermission. When the teams came back for the second half the Cardinals would prove to be too much as they would win the half 46-34 and take the 87-75 victory.
