It would be the opening week of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season and the last game of the week would feature the Peru Indians and the Ticonderoga Sentinels. The Indians wouldn't take long to jump out to the lead as they would strike with a 71-yard pass to Austin Carpenter 2:06 into the game for the 7-0 lead. On the next defense drive, they would block the punt for a safety and have a 9-0 lead. Then at the 7:41 mark of the first quarter, they would add a 2 yard run from Brayden Miner for the 15-0 lead. Right off in the second quarter, they would score on an 18-yard pass to Austin Carpenter for the 22-0 lead. Then at 4:45 mark of the quarter, they would score on a Kasen Brennan 17 yard touchdown pass for the 28-0 lead at the break. In the second the Indians wouldn't let up as they would score three more times for the 48-0 victory.
