Plattsburgh State's Mackenzie Millen (11) rifles the shot on net in the shoot looking for goal. The #1 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #3 Cortland State Red Dragons in the 2019 N.E.W.H.L. Championship. The Cardinals would take the early 1-0 lead four minutes into the first period from Erin McArdle. The Cardinals would extend the lead to 2-0 in the last few seconds of the first period on the Hanna Rose goal. In the second period Courtney Moriarty would get the goal at 6:34 for the 3-0 in the second period. Then three minutes later Annie Katonka would score to make it 4-0 Cardinals. Then in the final minute of the period Taylor Whitney would score for the 5-0 lead. That would end the scoring as there was nothing in the third period and the Cardinals would get the 5-0 victory to claim the 2019 NEWHL Chanpionship.
