The top seeded Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the 4 seeded Oswego State Lakers in the semi-finals of the NEWHL Hockey Tournament at the Field House in front of 500 people. The Cardinals would get the lone goal of the first period on the power play from Nicole Unsworth for the 1-0 lead after one. In the second period the Cardinals would get three goals in the period from Kaitlin Drew-Mead, Madison Walker and Mackenize Millen for the 4-1 lead after the second period. The Cardinals would strike again in the third period for three more goals from Courtney Moriarity, Annie Katonka, and Nicole Unsworth (second of the night) to secure the 7-1 victory.
