The #3 Plattsburgh State Cardinals would host the #6 Brockport State Golden Eagles in the Quarterfinals of the SUNYAC Tournament. The Golden Eagles would take the early 1-0 lead just 2:17 into the game. That would be the only scoring all the way til the 6:48 mark of the third period when Matt Araujo would score to tie the game at one. The Cardinals would take the lead just 80 seconds later on Cole Stallard's goal to make it a 2-1 Cardinals lead. The Cardinals would add a empty netter in the closing minute from Ross Sloan to secure the 3-1 victory.
