The Cardinals get on the board early in the game just 5:45 into the first on the Bennett Stockdale powerplay goal to make it a 1-0 game. The Cardinals would strike again on the powerplay at the 13:37 mark of the period on the Luk Jirousek as the Cardinals go up 2-0 Then just about 90 seconds later the Cardinals would keep the machine going as Josh Belgrave would make it a 3-0 game. Then to finish off the first period of scoring Trey Thomas would score just 53 seconds later to make it a 4-0 Cardinals game. The Cardinals would come out in the second period hot and score just 1:13 in on the Ryan Hogg goal to make it a 5-0 Cardinal game. That would be all the scoring on this night as the Panthers defense would button down the hatches from there on but the Cardinals would get the 5-0 win. In the winning effort, Jacob Hearne would make 26 saves as he would get his first shutout of the season the Cardinals go to 13-2 on the season and will be back in action tomorrow to take on Williams in Massuschetts.
