The game would stay there till the 9:47 mark of the period when the Raiders would tie the game on the powerplay on their first shot of the game from Cormac Hayes. The Cardinals would have an answer though and retake the lead at 2-1 about 3:30 later Simon Singher's first NCAA goal made it 2-1 Cardinals. The game would stay there through the second period as there was no scoring. The Cardinals would fight and get the two-goal lead on the goal by Brannon Butler goal to take the 3-1 lead at the 8:04 mark. In the closing stages of the period the Cardinals would at the empty netter on the Ryan Butler goal to secure the 4-1 win. In the winning effort, Eli Shiller would make 18 saves as the Cardinals go to 11-2 on the season and will play the Albertus Magnus for the Cardinal Classic title tomorrow. The Rivier Raiders go to 6-6-2 on the season and will get the Nazareth Golden Flyers in the consolation game. Gallery
