The game would stay there till there was just about five minutes in the second period when Bennett Stockdale would once again light the lamp to give the Cardinals the 2-0 lead. The Oles would keep fighting and the game would get very physical at times with many hard hits throughout. The Oles would make it a one-goal game at 2-1 with the extra attacker on the Tyler Cooper. Although the Cardinals would clamp down for the last 90 seconds and hold on for the 2-1 win. In the winning effort, Eli Shiller would make 19 saves as the Cardinals get the win to stay perfect on the season at 7-0 and will take on the #11 Norwich Cadets in the title game while the St. Olaf Oles will take on the Middlebury Panthers for third place.
