The game would not start the greatest as the Golden Eagles would get the opening goal of the game at the 5:40 mark of the first period from Scott Ramaekers to make it 1-0. The game would stay there to the 5:09 mark of the second period when the Cardinals would tie the game up at 1-1 on the Jake Lanyi goal. The game would remain even till the midway mark of the third period when Spencer Bellina would score to give the Cardinals the 2-1 lead. Then with 2:30 left in the game, the Cardinals would ice the game away on Josh Belgrave's empty netter to give the Cardinals the 3-1 victory. In the winning effort, the Cardinals stayed perfect on the season at 5-0 and Elli Shiller made 19 saves in the winning effort. The Cardinals will be back home next weekend as they take on fellow north country and SUNYAC foe the Potsdam Bears.Gallery
