We would have a three way battle up front for the 358 Modified victory between Chris Raabbe (01), Tim Fuller (19) and Lance Willix (19) with Chris Raabe getting the win for his fifth memorial cup win. It would be the third week of racing from the Mohawk International Raceway and it would be the annual memorial cup presented by Frenchie's Chevy with the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman Modified, Pro Stock, Limited Sportsman Modified, and the 4 Cylinders with 95 cars in the pits. After the heat race was done on the night the first main of the evening would be the 4 Cylinders and there would be a battle up front for a few laps between Francis White and Curtis Smith although Francis White would slowly pull away for the win. Then next up would be the Sportsman Modified 35-lap feature and it would see the first 31 laps go caution free. Then on the late race restart it would be a whos up front with Cedric Gauvreau, Shane Pecore, Nick Heywood, and DJ Gonyo having the first two rows on the restart. There would be a brief battle up front between Gonyo and Gaureau with Gauvreau getting the edge Shane Pecore would try and get the lead with two laps to go but Gauvreau would hold on for the win. Then it would be time for the 40 lap memorial cup race for the 358 Modifieds and it would be a three-horse race for the last 20 laps but o what a race it was between Tim Fuller Chris Raabe and Lance Willix as the three of them would be side by side switching from the top to the bottom of the track and flopping the lead back and forth throughout with the eventual win going to Chris Raabe and in doing so resetting the Mohawk International record with his fifth cup win. Then it would be the Pro Stocks for 20 laps and this would have another great battle up front with the top 5 cars all battling it out but Sid Harmer Jr would be just that much better than the rest as he would get the win over Joel Herne and Marc Lalonde. Then to finish off the night would be the Limited Sportsman Modified and it would see the kid Dylan Moore getting his first win in a sportsman over Kevin Foster and Dustin Wood to finish out the top three, Racing will return to the Mohawk Speedway next weekend with all the divisions returning for regur racing plus the slick track enduro.
