The game would remain scoreless all the way till the fifth inning when the Hornets would erupt for seven runs lead by a 2 rbi double by Nate Baker. The Hornets would stay hot in the following inning as they would another 4 runs in the sixth inning led by a rbi single by Jack Sorrell the Hornets would get the 11-0 victory. In the winning effort, Trenton Griffiths would go the complete game 1 hitter shutout while striking out eight as the Hornets go to 3-2 on the season while the Vikings fall to 1-2 on the season.
