In the second quarter the Vikings would break the game wide open with three scores on Riley Demarais second score of the game on a 4 yard run, Boden Valentine 2 yard run and a 28 yard fumble recovery by Rowan Swan and take a 36-0 lead into the intermission. When the teams came back for the second half you could tell the Vikings had turned down the wick as they would get a lone score from Keegan Callahan. While the Hornets would get on the board late in the game on a run by Trenton Griffiths.
