Then with just under two minutes left in the second Kaz Iwanmotto would make it 2-1 at the end of the second period. Then just 53 seconds into the third Mark Constantine would score on the power play to make it 3-1. Then at 3:53 Alex Jensen would score on the same power play to make it 4-1 Cardinals. Then with 43 seconds left in third Connor Gorman would add the empty netter to give the Cardinals the 5-1 victory. In the winning effort, Mathieu Cadieux would stop 22 of 23 shots on the night as the Cardinals go to 19-6-1 on the season.
