Beekmantown's Devin Fessette (4) slides in safe under a leaping Saranac Lake short shop at second on steal of second base. The Beekmantown Eagles would host the Saranac Lake Red Storm on Senior Day in a CVAC Division 1 clash. The Red Storm were looking to spoil the seniors last game as they jump out to the 1-0 lead after the first inning. That is where the game would remain until the third inning when the Eagles would get two to take the 2-1 lead. Then in the fourth inning, the Eagles would start to take command as they would score times to take the comfortable 7-2 lead as the Red Storm would get one at the top of the inning. The teams would trade runs in the fifth to make the score 8-3. Then in the sixth, the Eagles would add one more to end the scoring and secure the 9-3 victory. Austin Bradish would go five innings strike of two and give up four hits in the winning effort. Talking to Coach Bell after the game he would like to thank all the seniors for years of commitment to the program and wish them the best of luck in the future.
