The #1 Plattsburgh Hornets would face off in the Section VII D2 championship with the #4 Beekmantown Eagles at the Plattsburgh Fieldhouse. This would be a game between two very evenly matched and would be a defensive game and game where both goals would perform great. The lone goal of the game would come with 46 seconds left in the first period when Matthew Maggy would tip the shot by Nathan Herbet. That would be all that the Eagles would need as they would hold on for the 1-0 victory.
