The #1 Harvard Crimson would meet up with the #5 Quinnipiac Bobcats in the ECAC Tournament Semi-Finals at the Herb Brook Arena in Lake Placid, NY. The game would remain scoreless until the 11-minute mark of the second period when Harvard's Sean Malone would make it 1-0. The Bobcats would keep fighting and tie the game back up at 1 on Thomas Adsworth's goal at 16:16 of the second period on the power play. The Crimson would regain the lead on Sean Malone's second goal at 18:56 of the second period to make it 2-1 Crimson. The Crimson would come out in the third period and keep the pressure on and extend the lead on Sean Malone's third goal at 4:04 of the third period to make it 3-1 crimson. As the game was nearing the end the Crimson would add an empty netter from Luke Esposito to secure the 4-1 victory.
