Then, with just under 30 seconds left in the period, the Dynamo would extend their lead to 4-1 on Elkhan Abibekov's 5th goal of the season. The game would stay there until the 9:24 mark of the third period, when Elkhan Abibekov would score again for his 6th of the season, making it a 5-1 game. Sherbrooke would have answered with 1:54 left in the game, as Ty Mulcahy would score to make it 5-2. However, the Dynamo would have one last one in them, as Colton Warren made it a 6-2 win on his 14th of the season.
