The Malone Huskies would come short in there home opener losing 6-0 to the Plattsburgh Hornets in nondivision action. The Plattsburgh Hornets would get two-goal in each period for the win. Saranac Chiefs' KJ Houle (14) battles through the Plattsburgh Hornets tacklers for extra yards. The Saranac Chiefs would not be very kind host to the Plattsburgh Horners as they would ease to the 42-0 win. In the winning effort the Chiefs improve to 3-2 on the season and 2-2 in Class B.
