The game would be tight through the first half as the Huskies would lead 27-20 at the break. The deciding factor in the game would be third quarter as the Huskies would out score the Bears 21-5 and cruise to the 61-35 victory. Chateaugay's Courtney Boyea (15) goes in for the layup on the breakaway as part of her game-high 25 points. The Chateaugay Bulldogs would defeat the Madrid-Waddington Yellow Jackets 50-36. It was a battle for the east division lead. Both teams entered tonight's contest with only one league loss each and were tied for first place in east divisional play. Malayala fleury had twelve boards and play a great all-around game. Alexis Beach had another stellar defensive effort for the win. Alexis bottlenecked their offense from baseline to baseline. Alexis had seven steals in the win and three assist. Hannah Cook had five steals and three assists. Courtney Boyea would lead all scorers with 25 points.
