The West Side Saints would take a slim 7-0 lead after the first half. In the second half, the teams would trade scores and the West Side Saints would secure the 14-6 victory. The American Legion defense would be up the task they would shutout the West Side Saints in the first half and take a 13-0 lead at the break. When the teams would return for the second half it would be more of the same and the American Legion would add another score and take the 20-0 victory.
