The Saranac Chiefs would host the Beekmantown Eagles in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Boy's Hockey action at Amer-Can North Arena. It would be a very evenly matched game with some hard-hitting and there would be no scoring through the first period of action. The first goal of the game would come in the first minute of the second period from Saranac's Ashtyn Catlin to give the Chiefs the 1-0 lead. The lead would be short-lived as the Eagles would get the equalizer four minutes later from Jake Brunham to tie the game at one. Although the Chiefs would answer back just eight seconds later from Ethan Barnes and make it a 2-1 game. Then just 2:36 into the third period the Chiefs would expand on their lead and make it a 3-1 game on the Landon Duprey goal. Then in the closing minutes of the game, the Chiefs would add an empty netter from Hunter Provost to secure the 4-1 victory. Next for the teams, the Saranac Chiefs will play Saranac Lake-Lake Placid on February 14th as the Beekmantown Eagles will be in action on February 15th against the Plattsburgh Hornets. Gallery

We would have a crosstown Champlain Valley Athletic Conference game as the Plattsburgh Hornets would host 8-0 lead. In the second quarter rival the Beekmantown Eagles. The game would start off great for the visiting Eagles as they would have shutout first quarter at 8-0 Eagles. In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as the Eagles did their best to keep the shutout and have an impressive 16-2 lead at the intermission. When the teams returned for the third quarter from the break they would bring their offensive's as the Eagles would win the quarter and take a 28-12 lead into the fourth and final quarter. In that fourth quarter, the teams would be all equal with an 11-11 quarter for the 39-23 victory. In the winning effort, the Eagles go to 10-9 while the Hornets fall to 6-11 on the season. Gallery

Beekmantown's DJ Gonyo (27) with the hit on Saranac Lake-Lake Placid's Bailey Bartholomew (7) to keep the Lakers away from the net. It would be the third matchup of the season between the last members of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference title game as the Beekmantown Eagles would host the Saranac Lake-Lake Placid Lakers. The game would start off good for the home Eagles as they would get the opening goal of the game at the 5:41 mark of the first period from Sam Bingel. Although just over two minutes later the Lakers would get the equalizer from Noah Munn to tie the game at one. Then with just over three minutes left in the period, the Eagles would retake the lead at 2-1 on the shorthanded goal from Cooper Burdo to end the first period. Then just 2:44 into the second period would get their first two-goal lead of the night on the Reagan Dudyak goal at 3-1. The Lakers would keep fighting and get the game back to 3-2 at the 4:14 mark on the Jon Kratts goal. The Eagles would reclaim their two-goal lead at 4-2 on the Louis Sweenor powerplay goal. Although with just about 3:30 left in the period Lakers would bring it back to 4-3 on the goal from Hugo Hobson on the two-man advantage to end the scoring in the second period. Then in the third period, the Eagles would put the finishing touches on the game as they would light the lamp three times from Sam Bingel (second of the night), Zachary Lapier, and Anthony Marion to secure the 7-4 victory. It would be a Champlain Valley Athletic Conference between crosstown foes as the Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Beekmantown Eagles at the Ameri-can Arena. It would be a hard-hitting affair from the beginning and with that, the Eagles would get on the board first at the 12:15 mark of the first period on the Luke Moser goal. The game would stay there till the last 45 seconds period when Zachary LaPier would break in and score to extend the lead to 2-0. When the teams return for the second period it would be more of the same with the lone goal of the period coming from Quinn Brandell with 4:02 left to make it a 3-0 Eagles lead/ In the third period the Eagles would keep up the pressure and extend the lead to 4-0 at the 11:10 mark on the DJ Gonyo goal. Then to leave no doubt in the outcome they would add one more from James Burnham with under three minutes left to secure the 5-0 win and in that winning effort, Austin Dosier would stop all 15 shots for the shutout victory. Beekmantown's James Burnham (29) pins the Hornets defender along the boards as they battle for the puck. It would be the 8th annual Hannah's Hope Charity game at the Plattsburgh State Fieldhouse between the Plattsburgh Hornets and Beekmantown Eagles. The teams would be feeling each other out for the first of the period until the Hornets would get the scoring going at the 7:52 mark to give the visiting Hornets the 1-0 lead., The lead would last about four minutes when the Eagles would get the equalizer at the 11:05 mark from Sam Bingel. Then just a minute later the Eagles would take the lead at the 12:05 mark on the Luke Moser goal and make it 2-1 Eagles. The Eagles would waste little time in the second period and extend their lead to 3-1 at the 1:49 mark of the period. The Eagles would start pulling away at the 8:16 mark of the period as they would make it a 4-1 game on Keegan Seamone's goal. The Hornets wouldnt give up the fight though and get it back to 4-2 on Dylan Patcher's goal. Although the Eagles would regain the three-goal lead at 5-2 with under two minutes left in the period on the James Burnham goal. Then in the third period, the Eagles would put the icing on the cake with 2 goals from Louis Sweenor and Sam Bingel (second of the game) to secure the 7-2 win. Gallery
