Saranac's (16) with the crunching open ice hit on Plattsburgh's Drew Knowles (7) that drops him to the ice. The Saranac Chiefs would meet up with the Plattsburgh Hornets for the third and deciding game of the regular season at the Amer-Can North Arena. It would be a very physical game throughout and it would take till the 11:05 mark of the first period for the opening goal from Hornets Jackson Kain for the 1-0 lead. The Hornets would extend their lead to 2-0 two minutes later on the Hayden Colburn goal. The Chiefs would answer back and cut the defect in half at 2-1 on the Buckley goal. The Saranac Chiefs would fight back and get the tie at 2-2 on the Hunter Provost goal. The game would stay there till the 10:37 mark of the period when the Hornets Jace Lacey would light the lamp for the 3-2 Hornets lead. Then in the final three minutes of the period, the Hornets would get their three-goal lead back on the Jackson Kain 2nd and third goal and make it 5-2 at the end of the second period. In the third period, the Hornets would have two unanswered goals from Jackson Kain (4th of the night) and Jace Lacey (second of the night) to secure the 7-2 win. Gallery

Beekmantown's James Burnham (29) pins the Hornets defender along the boards as they battle for the puck. It would be the 8th annual Hannah's Hope Charity game at the Plattsburgh State Fieldhouse between the Plattsburgh Hornets and Beekmantown Eagles. The teams would be feeling each other out for the first of the period until the Hornets would get the scoring going at the 7:52 mark to give the visiting Hornets the 1-0 lead., The lead would last about four minutes when the Eagles would get the equalizer at the 11:05 mark from Sam Bingel. Then just a minute later the Eagles would take the lead at the 12:05 mark on the Luke Moser goal and make it 2-1 Eagles. The Eagles would waste little time in the second period and extend their lead to 3-1 at the 1:49 mark of the period. The Eagles would start pulling away at the 8:16 mark of the period as they would make it a 4-1 game on Keegan Seamone's goal. The Hornets wouldnt give up the fight though and get it back to 4-2 on Dylan Patcher's goal. Although the Eagles would regain the three-goal lead at 5-2 with under two minutes left in the period on the James Burnham goal. Then in the third period, the Eagles would put the icing on the cake with 2 goals from Louis Sweenor and Sam Bingel (second of the game) to secure the 7-2 win. Gallery

It would be a Champlain Valley Athletic Conference matchup between the host Beekmantown Eagles and the Saranac Chiefs for the second time this year. After their first meeting, this year needed over time the potential for another great game was there. It was looking that way for a bit until the Eagles would light the lamp for the first goal of the game from Zach Lapier at the 9:15 mark of the first period. Then just two and a half minutes later the Eagles would strike again this time from Moser for the 2-0 lead and that's where the period would end. When the second period started the Chiefs were doing their best to get back in the game and on the board although they wouldn't have an answer. Then at the 14:29 mark of the period, the Eagles would extend their lead to 3-0 on Zach Lapier's second goal of the game. The third period would start off fast for the Eagles as Zach Lapier would complete the hat trick just 40 seconds in and make it a 4-0 game. Then with under three minutes left in the game, the Eagles would put the finishing touches on the game with a goal by Keegan Seamone for the 5-0 win. In the winning effort, Austin Dosier would make 28 saves in the shutout. Gallery

It would be the second time in three days the Plattsburgh Hornets and Saranac Chiefs would meet up at the Amer-can North Arena. The Hornets would be looking for revenge from the last game they lost in overtime and would take the quick 1-0 lead on the Jace Lacey goal 1:57 into the game. Although the Chiefs would fight back and get the equalizer 8:10 into the period on the Ethan Barnes goal. Then with 33 seconds left in the period, the Chiefs would take the 2-1 lead on the Landon Giroux goal. The Hornets would keep fighting and eventually tie the game back up at two on Jace Lacey's second goal of the game at the 9:26 mark. The Hornets wouldn't quite till they got the lead and they would on the powerplay goal by Jace Lacey for the hat trick with just under five minutes left in the period. From there the teams would play even the rest of the night until the Hornets in the last minute of the game put in the empty netter from Hayden Colburn for the 4-2 victory. Gallery

It would be the rematch two years in the making as it would feature the Beekmantown Eagles and Saranac Lake/Lake Placid Lakers facing again for the first time since there 2020 Champlain Valley Athletic Conference championship game. It would be a very physical game from start to finish and with that in mind, it would take till 2:15 left in the first period for the opening goal of the game from Beekmantown's Anthony Marion for the 1-0 Eagles lead. Then about halfway through the second period at the 8:34 mark, the Eagles would extend their lead to 2-0 on the Bingel goal. Just about a minute later the Lakers would get on the board and put the game back at a 1 goal game on the Hugo Hobson goal. The one goal difference would be short-lived as the Eagles would regain their 2 goal lead at 11:44 of the period on the Luke Moser goal for a 3-1 lead after the second period. Then just 1:30 into the third period the Eagles would make it 4-1 as DJ Gonyo would go coast to coast for the goal top shelf. Although the Lakers would show some life as they would light the lamp just 45 seconds later on the Noah Munn-Jennings goal to make it 4-2. The Eagles would answer back at the 6:43 mark of the period on the Reid Fessette rifle shot and take the 5-2 lead back. Then in the closing minutes of the game, the Eagles would add a shorthanded empty netter from Luke Moser his second of the night for the 6-2 win. Gallery
