Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Ticonderoga Sentinels October 6 2017
Ticonderoga's Russ Gallo III steamrolls over the Plattsburgh defender as he takes it for a first down. The Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Ticonderoga Sentinels in week 6 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season. The Sentinels would jump out to a quick 7-0 lead on a 52 yard run by Trevor Parent two minutes into the game. The Sentinels would answer at 5:33 of the opening quarter this time on a 50-yard run to extend the lead to 13-0. There would be no scoring in the second quarter so the Sentinels would take a 13-0 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the second half so would the Sentinels to form as Evan Garney would score on a quarterback sneak at 6:19 to make it 21-0. Then with under two minutes left in the third Trevor Parent would score again to make it 28-0. In the fourth quarter, the Sentinels would add one more on Hayden Scuderi would score to make it 35-0. In the winning effort, the Sentinels keep there undefeated season intact as they go to 6-0 while the Hornets fall to 3-3 on the season. Gallery.

Peru Indians Vs Beekmantown Eagles September 9th 2017
Beekmantown's Cris Arzola (23) goes up the middle carrying tackles for the first down and would get the eventual game-winning touchdown and in overtime. It would be week two of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and it would be the classic rival game between the host Peru Indians and the visiting Beekmantown Eagles. The Indians would streak first on the Keagen LaGrave (26) 6 yard run halfway through the first quarter for the 6-0 lead. The Indians would strike again when Keagan LaGrave would score on the pass play with 2 minutes left in the 2nd quarter to make it 13-0. The Eagles would strike right back on a 60 yard run by Cris Arzola to make it 13-7 after the 1st quarter. In the second quarter Eagles, Cris Arzola would tie the game on a 51-yard run at 5:12 of the quarter. Then in the final minute of the quarter the Eagles would take the lead on the touchdown pass to Evan Burnell for the 19-13 lead at halftime. When the teams would come back for the second half Austin Carpenter (3) would get the scoring started for the Indians on a touchdown pass at 4:24 of the third to make it 20-19. In the final minute of the quarter, Austin Carpenter would strike again to make it 27-19 after the third quarter. The Eagles would strike back and tie the game at 27 just under two minutes into the fourth quarter with Evan Burnell's second score to tie the game at 27. Then about half way through the fourth the Eagles would take the 33-27 on Cris Arzola's third score of the game. Then with just under two minutes left in the game, the Indians would tie the game at 33 and send it to overtime. In the overtime period, the Indians would get the play first and score on Ryan Connell quarterback sneak to make it 40-33. The Eagles would get a chance to match them and force and force another overtime. With that Eagles possession, Cris Arzola would score although the Eagles would go for two and succeed and get the 41-40 victory. In the winning effort, the Beekmantown Eagles go to 1-1 as the head back on the road against Moriah Vikings. With the lose the Peru Indians fall to 0-2 on the season as they will host the 0-2 Saranac Lake Red Storm.Gallery.

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Week 2 Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Moriah Vikings September 8th 2017
Plattsburgh's Ian Detulleo (2) with the pass break up along the farside long. It would be the start of week 2 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season as we have the Plattsburgh Hornets hosting the Moriah Vikings in League action. The Vikings would get the first score of the game in the 1st quarter a run by Connor Anderson for the 8-0 lead. In the second quarter the Vikings would extend there lead to 16-0 on Connor Anderson's second touchdown run of the day at 4:38of the quarter. The game would stay there til the 7:26 mark of the third quarter when Jay Sargent would take it 22 yards for the score and make it 24-0. In the fourth quarter, the Hornets would get on the board on a 20-yard touchdown pass to Talon Bushey at the 8:10 mark to make it 24-8. Although the Vikings would answer right back a short run to secure the 31-8 victory. In the winning effort, the Vikings improve to 2-0 as they head home for Beekmantown next week. Moriah's Dewey Snyder (24) runs over Plattsburgh's Justin Moore (4) as he fights for extra yards on the toss play. It would be the start of week 2 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season as we have the Plattsburgh Hornets hosting the Moriah Vikings in League action. The Vikings would get the first score of the game in the 1st quarter a run by Connor Anderson for the 8-0 lead. In the second quarter the Vikings would extend there lead to 16-0 on Connor Anderson second touchdown run of the day at 4:38of the quarter. Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Week 2 Saranac Chiefs Vs Plattsburgh Hornets September 2 2017
Saranac's Jacob Nolan (13) with the catch along the sidelines and turns upfield for the big gain. The Saranac Chiefs would open up there season at home against the Plattsburgh Hornets. The Chiefs would strike quick for the early lead on the 60 yards run by Luke Maye for the 6-0 lead at 1:54 of the first quarter. The Chiefs would extend there lead to 14-0 on a Jacob Nolan 61 yard touchdown at the end of the quarter. In the second quarter, the Chiefs would extend there lead to 22-0 on an Andy LaBeau interception for a touchdown. At the end of the Horners would finally get on the board to make it a 22-8 Chiefs lead at the break. The Horners would come out and try and make a game of it as they would return a fumble for a score to make it 22-14. Then with about two minutes left in the game, the Chiefs would extend there lead 28-14 on a Jacob Nolan score. With that, the Chiefs would get the 28-14 win and go to 1-0 as the Hornets fall to 0-1. Saranac Chiefs Vs Plattsburgh Hornets September 2nd 2017
Saranac's Isaac Graham (88) with the two-handed catch headed towards the sidelines for the first down. The Saranac Chiefs would open up there season at home against the Plattsburgh Hornets. The Chiefs would strike quick for the early lead on the 60 yards run by Luke Maye for the 6-0 lead at 1:54 of the first quarter. Ausable Valley Patriots Vs Saranac Lake Red Storm September 1st 2017
Ausable Valley's Jason Fletcher (21) with the leaping catch over the middle although the catch didn't count because of a holding penalty still 100% effort. It would be opening night of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference football season and the Ausable Valley Patriots would host the Saranac Lake Red storm. The Red Storm would get the opening score of the game as Jarrett Ashton would bust out for 61 yards for the 6-0 lead. The would stay there til 3 minutes into the 2nd quarter when Mason Douglas would return a fumble and give the Patriots the 8-6 lead. The Red Storm would answer right back on Jarrett Ashton's second touchdown of the night and regain the 14-8 lead. On the next Patriots possession, Matthew Pray would break it 80 yards and the Patriots would take the 16-14 lead back. Although the Red Storm would strike again on a Jacob Shipman 50 yard touchdown reception to give the Red Storm the 22-16 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the second half the Patriots defense would step up and take charge of the game. The Patriots would retake the lead at 24-22 on a Luis Perez 8 yard reception and score with just under 5 minutes left in the third quarter. The Patriots would extend there lead to 30-22 a 71-yard touchdown run for Matthew Pray his second of the game Then with just under 8 minutes left in the game Jarrett Ashton would get his third touchdown of the game and tie the game at 30. The Patriots would regain the lead at 38-30 with 6:30 left in the game on Matthew Pray's third touchdown of the game and secure the 38-30 win.
