#1 Ticonderoga Sentinels Vs #2 Moriah Vikings - October 28 2017

The Moriah Vikings pose for there team photo as they are crowned the 2017 Section VII Class D Champions. It would be the Section VII Class D Championship between long time rivals the #1 Ticonderoga Sentinels and the #2 Moriah Vikings. The Sentinels would take the 7-0 lead 5 minutes into the first quarter on Hayden Scuderi's 1 yard run. The Moriah Vikings would get on the board in the last minute of the first quarter on a Rob Flack 6 yard touchdown but they would fail the 2 point conversion and trail 7-6 after the first quarter. In the second quarter the Vikings would take a 14-7 lead on a Connor Anderson 2 yard run at 7:45 of the quarter. The game would stay there all the way til the 8:20 mark of the third quarter when Pelkey would score on the 1 yard run to make it 22-7. Then at the 4:15 mark of the fourth quarter Pelkey would score again for the Vikings to extend there lead to 28-7. The Sentinels would then do there best to make a comeback as they would score 43 seconds later on a 13 yard pass to Michael Dushane to make it 28-15. The Sentinels would keep fighting and with 35 seconds left in the game Michael Dushane would score again to make it 28-22. The Sentinels would then attempt the onside but it would be unsuccessful and the Vikings would get the 28-22 victory. In the winning effort the Moriah Vikings would go to 8-1 on the season and have a meeting with the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks in the New York State Class D First Round. As the Ticonderoga Sentinels season comes to an end at 8-1. Gallery.

#1 Plattsburgh Hornets Vs #3 Peru Indians - October 28 2017

The Peru Indians pose for there team photo as they crowned the 2017 Section VII Class B Champions. It would be the #1 Plattsburgh Hornets meeting up with the #3 Peru Indians in the Section VII Class B Championship. This would be a defensive battle between two evenly matched teams. As the Peru Indians would score first with a minute left in the first quarter on Kasen Brennan 6 yard touchdown. The game would stay there til 4:28 left in the second quarter when Jordan Moore would score on a 13 yard pass although the hornets would miss the extra point and the Indians would have a 7-6 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the second half the defenses would stay stout as there would be no scoring. The Peru Indians would get the 7-6 victory and be crowned the 2017 Section VII champions and advance to the New York State Class B Tournament and play the Gouvenour Wildcats. Gallery.

#1 Saranac Chiefs Vs #3 Saranac Lake Red Storm October 28 2017

The Saranac Chiefs pose for there team photo as they are crowned the 2017 Section VII Class C Champions. It would be a rematch of last years Section VII Class C Championship as the Saranac Chiefs would meet up with the Saranac Lake Red Storm. The Chiefs would get the scoring going as Keegan Wood would score on the 32 yard run to make it 7-0. Although as the quarter ended the Red Storm would score on the 6 yard run from Swanson to make it 7-6. In the second quarter Luke Maye would score twice on 11 and 6 yard runs to make it 21-6 at the half. When the teams returned for the second half the Red Storm would score with 1:13 left in the third quarter on a 26 yard pass to Shipman. Although from there it would be lock down defense on both sides and the Saranac Chiefs would get the 21-12 victory for there first ever Section VII Class C title. With the win the Saranac Chiefs advance to the New York State playoffs and take on Ogdensburg in the first round. Gallery.

#2 Beekmantown Eagles Vs #3 Peru Indians - October 21 2017

Peru's Kasen Brennan (26) carries the defender into the endzone for the winning score with under two minutes left in the game. It would be a classic match this time though in the playoffs as the #2 Beekmantown Eagles would host the #3 Peru Indians in the Class B Semmi-Finals. Peru would get the first score of the game at 8:58 of the first quarter on a 30 yard fumble recovery to make it 7-0. The Indians would extend the lead to 14-0 in the first few seconds of the second quarter on a 7 yard pass to Alex Rine. The Beekmantown Wagles would cut the lead in half on a 38 yard run by Cristobal Arzola to make it 14-7 at 1:58 of the second quarter. Then at the 5:06 mark of the second quarter the Eagles would tie the game at 14 on a 20 yard run by Dylan Hazel. The game would stay there til the 4th quarter when the Beekmantown Eagles would take the 21-14 lead on a 25 yard quarterback keeper from Brandon Belrose. The Indians would march right back down and score on a 10 yard pass to Robert Reynolds although they would miss the extra point to make it 21-20 with 8 minutes left. Then from that point on the game would get very questionable as there was alot of very questionable calls that would go against Beekmantown. With that going on the Indians would get the eventual game winning score with 1:50 left in the game on Kasen Brennan 12 yard run for the 26-21 victory. In the winning effort the Peru Indians go to 2-6 and have a date with the Plattsburgh Hornets for the Class B Championships and the Beekmantown Eagles season comes to a end at 4-4. Gallery.

The Eagles would get the first score of the game on a Matthew LaValley 2 yard run 2:53 into the first quarter. The Eagles would extend there lead in the closing minute of the first quarter on a Brandon Belrose 12 yard run for the 14-0 lead. In the second quarter Matthew LaValley would get his second score of the game on at 1 yard run at 6:55 of the second quarter for the 21-0 lead. Then in the closing seconds of the half, the Eagles would add a 21-yard field goal for the 24-0 lead at intermission. At the 9:59 mark of the third quarter the Eagles would extend the lead to 31-0 on a 19 yard run by Dylan Hazel. In the fourth quarter, the Eagles would end the scoring with a 17-yard pass to Evan Brunell for the 38-0 victory. It would be the last week of the regular season and Ausable Valley would be hosting #12 Moriah Vikings. This would be a game that Vikings would be in complete control from start to finish. The Vikings would score twice in the first quarter on a couple 2 yard plays one to Jerin Sargent and the other to Connor Anderson for the 14-0 lead. In the second quarter, it would be more of the same as the Vikings would score three more times. This time scoring would be Dewey Snyder 2 yard run, Jerin Sargent 85 yard strike, and Flack on a three-yard run to have the 35-0 lead at halftime. When the teams came back for the second the Vikings would step off the gas and coast through the second half getting just one more score to secure the 41-0 victory. In the winning effort, the Vikings finish the regular season at 6-1 while the Patriots go to 1-6. Gallery

Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Week 6 Plattsburgh Hornets Vs Ticonderoga Sentinels October 6th 2017

Ticonderoga's Trevor Parent (18) shads off the tackler in the backfield and ends up getting positive yards on the pay. The Plattsburgh Hornets would host the Ticonderoga Sentinels in week 6 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season. The Sentinels would jump out to a quick 7-0 lead on a 52 yard run by Trevor Parent two minutes into the game. The Sentinels would answer at 5:33 of the opening quarter this time on a 50-yard run to extend the lead to 13-0. There would be no scoring in the second quarter so the Sentinels would take a 13-0 lead at the break. When the teams came back for the second half so would the Sentinels to form as Evan Garney would score on a quarterback sneak at 6:19 to make it 21-0. Then with under two minutes left in the third Trevor Parent would score again to make it 28-0. In the fourth quarter, the Sentinels would add one more on Hayden Scuderi would score to make it 35-0. In the winning effort, the Sentinels keep there undefeated season intact as they go to 6-0 while the Hornets fall to 3-3 on the season. Gallery
