The Airborne Speedway Padres would finish off the Meron's Expos by beating them 2-0 to advance to the championship next week. The only scoring in the game would come in the fourth inning of a two rbi double by Jeff Norton. The Padres would play stellar defense throughout the day to keep the shutout in tack. In the winning effort, Frank Brogna would strike out six while going the complete game for the win.
