The Eagles would take a 2-1 lead on Christin Wawrzynski's goal at 13:30 of the first period. The game would remain there until 13:10 of the second period when the Eagles would extend the lead to 3-1 on Michael Parent's goal. The Shamrocks would cut the lead to 3-2 on Otto Thomas's powerplay goal at 8:43 of the third period. The Eagles would regain the two-goal lead on Hayden King's goal at 9:03 of the third.
