It would be a Dirtcar Series doubleader at the Airbore Park Speedway as the Dirtcar 358 Modified and Sportsman East Series would be in town for the Battle of Plattsburgh with the headliner being the 358 Modifieds 75 lap $5,000 to win. Also in action would be the Limited Sportsman Modified, Renegades and the Mini Stocks. There would only be heats for the 358 Modifieds and Sportsman Modified on this night. The first feature of the nigth would be the RainPro of Vermont Limited Sportsman Modified for 25 laps as 15 would take the green and there wuld be a opening lap crash that would take out a couple of main players the early battle up front would be between Adam Lafountain and Josh Patterson but there be a chalenge coming from the back of the back as Gary English and Stephen Bushey would be picking there way through the field and would find there way to the front and Gary English would get the win on the night and would be able to extend hs lead in the points to 11 over the first 6 races. Then we would have the Renegades for there 25 lap event as 13 would take the green. The race up would be up front al evening between Billy Thwaits and Shawn Duquette as they would renew there season long battle and on this night Thwaits would get it for his second win of the season and would be able to cut the defecit to 26 points. After a break for some track prep it would be time for the main event of the evening with the 358 Modifieds going 75 laps for $5,000 and there would be 31 strong that would take the green flag we would get t0 lap 4 before we had are first caution of the night as William Raccine would take a wild ride in turn one. Then of the restart the battle would be up front between Lance Willix and Andrew Buff that would see Willix take the lead but he would have hard competition coming in the likes of Mike Mahaney, Felix Roy, and Matt Williamson, that would see Mahaney get around him for the lead and then a few laps later when Willix was trying to catch up he would slide off the top and then the race would be on between Mahaney and Roy that would see Mahaney cash in on the $5,000 after claiming his fourth straight win at the Airborne Park Speedway. Then we woul have the Sportsman Modified East Seies for there 30 lap event that would see the battle between the front row all night as Travis Bruno and Michael Wright would go at it for the win with 23 others of there closest friends and on this night Wright would get to the checkered flag first and claim his second win in three weeks. Then the final race of the night would be the Mini Stocks for 20 laps as 23 strong would take the green. The early leader on the night would be Tyler Warren. Gallery
