The game would stay there till the 9:21 mark of the second period when last night's hero, Avery Bairos, would score to make it a 2-0 Bobcats lead for the lone goal of the second period. The Bobcats would keep coming, and at the 3:45 mark of the third period, Zoe Uens would score on the power play to make it a 3-0 game. Then, at the 12:54 mark of the third period, the Bulldogs would get on the board thanks to Mariya Rauf finding the 5-hole, making it a 3-1 game. Then, with just under three minutes left in the game, the Bobcats would add to empty netters from Ella Johnson and Emerson Jarvis to secure the 5-1 victory and be crowned the 2026 ECAC Hockey Conference Women's Hockey Champion and earn the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. In the winning effort for the Bobcats, Felicia Frank would make 31 saves as they went to 28-8-3 on the season.
