This would be a day that the Garnets would be in control from the start as they would get three goals in the first period and take the 3-0 lead. When the teams return for the second period, the Garnets stay in control as they come out and score five more goals, taking the 8-0. When the teams returned for the third period, the Garnets would not release the gas.
