So it would be week 5 of the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference season, and this time, we would go to Saranac Lake and Raymond Wilson Final, where the host #19 Saranac Lake Red Storm would host the #25 Beekmantown in a game of the undefeated Red Storm and 1 lose Eagles. The game would be tight throughout the first half. The Eagles would get the game's opening score on the Josh Sands 2-yard keeper at the 8:26 mark of the first quarter to take the 7-0 lead. The game would stay there til the 4:25 mark of the second quarter when the Red Storm would get on the board with their quarterback keeper as Zack Goetz would score to make it a 7-6 game, and that's where the game would enter the half. When the teams returned for the second half, both teams were looking to break through in the matchup. The Eagles would answer that bell on the 29-yard run by Parker Broughton to take the 14-6 lead at the 4:54 mark of the quarter. The game would stay there till the 8:27 mark of the 4th quarter when the Eagles would extend their lead to 21-6 on the 16-yard pass to Patrick Hagadorn. The Red Storm would answer right back as they marched down the field, and Chris Martin would finish off on the 4-yard run to make it a 21-12 game. The Eagles would put the game out of reach with 1:16 left in the game when Shamus Bibeau would score from 9 yards out to open up the lead to 28-12, and that's where the game would finish. The Beekmantown Eagles go to 4-1 on the season with their win and will be back home next weekend against the Moriah Vikings.
