Matc Lalonde (8), Kevin Fetterely (57k), and Ian Bressette (5b) would battle for the lead as Lalonde would get the win in the end at the stripe. It would be the first-ever stop of the American Racer North Series at the Mohawk International Raceway. It would bring 38 of the best Small Block Modifieds in the region for their second stop on the tour in front of a packed house along with 27 Sportsman Modifieds for 1,200 to win and an automatic start in the Vermont 200 at Devils Bowls and 19 Pro Stocks. After the heat races were in the books it would be onto the mains for the evening and the first up would be the Limited Sportsman Modified for 15 laps the winner on the night would be Camdin Cook as he would get around Bryan Tarbell during the midway point of the race for his first career win and Jacory Thompson would round out the top three. Next up would be the Sportsman Modified for 40 laps and a $1,200 win and the granutteed spot in Vermont 200 would be 40 laps caution. It would see Nick Heywood get the wire-to-wire win as he would ride it from his pole position to the win but the battle behind him would be fierce as there would be a pair of Canadians behind him going after the win as Tristan Ladoucer and Shane Pecore would be all over Heywood the whole. Then next up would be the main event of the evening the American Racer North Series as 30 358 Modifieds would go 60 laps as they went after the $3,200 first place check. The are would see David Hebert get the lead off the start of the race and be in a fight with track favorite Carey Terrance for the early lead. There would be some hard chargers coming from the lower part of the top ten and getting in the fight as Ryan Arbuthnot and Chris Raabe. There would be a single caution for the race and when the deck reraked the race would be on upfront behind Terrance Hebert Raabe and Arbuthnot for the win and in the end the win would go to Ryan Arbuthnot on a late race place of David Hebert but Chris Raabe would be hard-charging from the third place but just run out of time. Then it would be onto the Pro Stocks for 25 laps to finish off the night and what would turn out to be the race of the night as there was only one caution on the race as a racer came up short of making the pits. Still, the battle would be on upfront all race long between Burton Ward, Kevin Fetterly, Ian Bresette, and Marc Lalonde, and Fetterly and Lalonde would come across the line together as Lalonde would get the win by a nose. The Mohawk International Raceway will come back to life next Saturday Night June 22nd on Corner Convenience night with the Canadian Street Stock Challenge Gallery
