Moriah's Chase McGiness (22) stretches out for the lay-in as he crashes down the lane for the score. It would be the regular season's last game for the Plattsburgh Hornets and the #1 Moriah Vikings as they would host them at the Hornets Nest in front of a full nest. The Hornets would not be a perfect host to the Moriah Vikings as they would jump out and take control of the game with a 28-7 first quarter. In the second quarter, the Vikings would look to return to the game with a 17-11 quarter, although the Hornets would take the 39-24 lead into the intermission. When the teams return for the second half, the third quarter will be very evenly contested as the Hornets will have a slim 21-18 quarter and expand their lead to 60-42 into the fourth quarter. In that fourth quarter, the Vikings would do their best to get back in the game with a 12-7 quarter, but that wouldn't be enough as the Hornets would get a victory of 67-54.
